I would be SHOCKED if that number was truly 2,500 paying connections. Blown away actually.

We'll never know unless someone with the CDN steps up and tells us, they won't.

ETA: This would place it second ONLY to the recent Mayweather/Pacquiou fight which was 4,400,000.

The real number two is Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Saúl Álvarezfor at 2,200,000. (note that is 300,000 less than the slide promoters are claiming lol)

That's just comical...

If anything this whole event underscored not to rely on conjecture, but hard facts. Unless we have an official reveal of the Boxcast streaming numbers and audience tickets why speculate? Isn't that what we are cautioning against here?

If it was true, it would only stand as a testament to the amount of stupid people in the world. Nothing more.

Regarding Dolan -

"I should add to anyone who hasn't been paying attention that I never at any point endorsed the slides as representing something extraterrestrial."

Bloody Hell? Compare that with his quote from just a couple days ago from Reuters -

""Analysis of the body ... suggested this is not a mummy and not a human, not a mammal and not a model," says enthusiast Richard Dolan, Reuters reports."

So which is it Richard? The poor fella can't remember what he said just a few days ago. Oh, and he surely is playing the party line until Maussan's check clears.

To be fair, he didn't come out and say that it was Extraterrestrial there either. He was just saying what it wasn't. Not what it was (in his opinion)

You're attempting to put words in his mouth......

Has Dolan ever once came out and said that its "Extraterrestrial" ? Or are people (like you) just assuming that is what he thinks via cherry picking certain statements by him and trying to make sense of it?

So he was just riding the gravy train and trying to make a buck. Sucker born every minute.
Got it.

But has he came out and said "Extraterrestrial" regarding those slides though? That is the point that I am trying to make. I don't think he has and if he has, then someone please correct me.

I do agree though that he got suckered into it.

Sure. Read what the hell you quoted.
"Analysis of the body ... suggested this is not a mummy and not a human, not a mammal and not a model"

What analysis? Not a mummy? Not human? Not a mammal? Are you kidding?

How slick do you want it to be?

LOL, I guess. But as I said, he was stating what it wasn't. Not what it was. I think saying otherwise is assuming and putting words into his mouth........

How about calling him what he is?
A con-man. Like the rest of his ilk.

Analysis.
Right.

Research.
Right.

If that is the case, then Richard Dolan woke up yesterday and became a con-man. He most certainly has never always been that way. So if hes a "con-man" as you say there, then its something that he recently started to do and it started with these Roswell Slides. Prior to this, hes been nothing but an outstanding and well respected researcher. I know opinions will vary, but more than not with agree with my sentiment.

Funny how that happens, isn't it.
"Researchers" start out all noble. Then the market thins because nothing really amounts to anything. Then all of a sudden there's "undeniable evidence" that "comprehensive analysis" has suddenly shown.
No.

So, he fooled himself? We should feel sorry for the poor sod?
No.

Yeah, I know. Admittedly, I don't know all the facts either. But what I'm saying is that before this, Richard Dolan's name was always mentioned as one of the "good guys" in Ufology.

I'm personally cutting him some slack and giving him the benefit of the doubt unless he pulls something like this again.

I think its way too early to put him into the Phil Imbrogno and Stan Romanek category.

He seems to be buds with Jaime though.

I guess jumping the shark is possible. Its funny, because that is precisely what happened with Stan Romanek. He wrote his little Alien Abduction trilogy and then went off the handle with absurd paranormal events in his home. There is a recording of him clearly throwing a pencil into the air acting like it was "one of them"......So awful.

So I guess once maybe some of these guys run out of material, they jump the shark so to speak? lol

Anyway, we'll see what Dolan's actions are like going forward. Usually when these things start, they snowball and we'll hear something else sooner rather than later.

Drop the so to speak.

Now you got it.

Well, his final UFOs and National Security State book is due out soon I think....So I guess we'll find out soon enough. Once he writes that one, that completes that trilogy. So we'll see what he does once his book ideas run out.

Mark,

I'm sure you're right that the ppv #'s are no where near that. I know I sure hope you're right. Got those #'s from here -

www.theufochronicles.com...

I mean, that cannot be true, can it?
