Doesn't mean they're in Chicago. The time zone takes up about 1/24 of the planet, after all.

The one you mentioned was also Chicago time zone. Maybe that's where the servers are located and this is a backend issue? I haven't seen any other glitchy edits, so I'm not sure if other zones pop up.

Maybe. You could be right.

I personally haven't seen any other timezones but Chicago in those glitches.

I was thinking with the big change over that maybe what was causing the edit glitch to pop up would have worked itself out. But lo and behold, it's still here:
