Gold Ring Blue Ribbon

As The middle aged Married fit Man,
walks on His morning stroll,
He is not looking for anything in particular today,
His stash at Home has Grown Very Full.

However today is going to be different for Him,
In ways He may not imagine could be found.
For in front of Him at this very minute,
On the ground lies a ring so shiny and round.

It is small and unblemished,
gold and so beautiful to see.
He wonders why it is here that it rests,
Who in the world could the owner of this be?

He thought to go into the Shop in,
which the ring sat at it's door.
He wondered if the owner of this ring,
Might be in there or wait!
There's something more!?

Yes there is something laying out,
into the street that's at His side.
It is a pretty blue Ribbon,
Two feet long and not very wide.

Along its sides were delicate designs,
Of Printed Purple and Green Runes.
He was even now more fascinated,
And wanted to find the owner very soon!

He decided to go into the shop,
And did so then closed the door.
He looked around the main room,
And saw one Woman and noone more.

She was quietly sobbing with,
Her head held in Her hands.
She was wearing a pretty blue dress,
With a lace hem looking very grand.

The Man approached Her calmly ,
as not arouse any fear.
He could smell the scents of Jasmine,
It grew stronger as He got Near.

Her Platinum Blonde Hair was,
so shiny and silky He thought.
This must be the one who,
This ribbon and Ring were for bought.

He softly spoke to Her these words,
that He thought would ease Her sorrows.
"M'Lady are You alright there?
You know there is always tomorrow..."

She raised Her Beautiful face from Her hands,
and looked into the eyes of the Man at Her side.
She saw wonder and compassion there,
with that She smiled wide.

He looked back at Her Pretty Brown eyes,
and something started to come over Him.
He felt like fish just out of water,
or if He was in water he could not swim.

He began to swoon light headed and dizzy,
and He needed to sit or be on the floor.
He wondered what is coming over Him,
''this will soon pass'' He thought,
''it will end with nothing more.''

He sat next to the Young Woman,
His heart beating wildly inside His chest.
He is thinking He may have found the owner of the items,
the answer to His new found quest.

He placed the objects on the table,
in front of the Pretty Lass.
The Ring shined so brightly,
reflecting off the counters glass.

She pushed the ring aside,
but picked up the blue Ribbon,
And held it out to the Man to see.
"This ring has no more sentimental value to Me,
it and this ribbon can be a gift to thee."

The Man was preplexed,
as to what he was hearing,
Thoughts ran wild inside of His Mind.
''Was it something that was meant to be?
For Me these items I was to find?''

Just by being near the Young Lady,
The Man was as happy as could be.
Just why this was happening to Him,
I think It's True Love, that's what comes to Me.

As I tell this Tale of a new beginning,
The details of their words between each other,
are not a needed thing.
For in an ordinary day for the Man.
His Heart began to sing.

He realized that even though he had a partner,
There was more in life meant for Him.
With the Beautiful and now Happy Young Lass,
A new life together they would begin...

Ummm...It always amazes me whenever a writer entangles my emotional state within the core of like experience...

After 4 messed up surgeries, well 3 were, I deal with the same as You most likely on a daily basis.

Thanx Wan Bud! I didnt think about that shop much except that it was there. LOL
Heck, maybe she did own it?!! If so, that guy struck gold, (get it)!!!

As far as Unordinary. I try in some of my tales to head that direction.
This one just happened to come to me outta the blue and spun itself out unordinarily!

And as I wrote it out, it started to take on connotations as well.
I just let it flesh itself out, as I watched the letters fall before Me!
