When the injury occurred is irrelevant, when he had surgery to fix the injury is key. The article say his surgery was a week before his death.

if anyone bothered to read the documents, then you would know that the FIRST court case was back in december! and he has had multiple appearances in court, or his lawyer anyways.
that accident happened at least four to five months ago, which is enough time for him to get back out on the block as a hopper if he wanted to.

so once again, blaming the victim.

Ok. Since he was blamed during his previous 18 arrests, and he was once again selling drugs, let's blame the cops for his spinal injury which was already compromised from previous surgeries. Even if proven to be correct, we won't hear of it from the MSM, which won't comply with their bad cops/innocent minority talking points.

If that's the case, simply running and jumping to get away when caught dealing could have caused the spinal cord injury that led to his death. There is a reason why one spends weeks resting and in a cervical collar after cervical spine surgery.

Aren't they coming out with the autopsy results Friday?

I thought there was already an autopsy which showed he died of spinal injuries, just not specific as to how they occurred.
"An autopsy found that Gray died from a spinal cord injury, but Baltimore Deputy Police Commissioner Jerry Rodriguez told reporters Monday that there is no indication how the injury occurred."
www.cnn.com...

Also interesting there was another witness in the transport van with Gray at the time. I wasn't aware of this. His testimony will definitely be key.
"Another person, who was inside the prisoner transport van carrying Gray, is a witness in a criminal investigation, so his name won't be released, police said."

OK Chris Hansen, we get your to catch a predator technique.

Unfortunately there is always a WHY? and if you keep shooting in the head (solvent solution) we will never find the root.

I read somewhere about these surgeries two days ago, I didn't gave much attention because I thought that it was surgeries from the injuries he sustained after the arrest

But this news has not been private at all.

this could be a factor in his injury. i still say he got his ass whopped after being put in the van. either by the driver, or someone else that was placed in the van after he was .

remember, there were several reports that the driver stopped to put leg irons on him, and that they made other stops, one report said one stop, one report said three.

not hard to think that he was raising hell in the van and the officer handled business, or that he was raising hell and pissed off another prisoner and if they weren't wearing seat belts, that one prisoner or more used their feet and stomped on his neck. the force of a foot coming down on a neck is more than enough to server 80% of the spinal column.

that might also explain why no autopsy report is released yet.

If he sustained injuries in police custody (especially at the station) there is video of it somewhere. There isn't a single camera gap in your local precinct, everything is recorded EVERYWHERE. Might be a small corner somewhere to get a shot in, but there are so many cameras and angles in a station its like fort knox.

Ooooh, he sold DRUUUUGS! Big deal. He broke a bunch of laws based in a subjective morality system that most of you criticize otherwise.

What do you want to address first? Victimless crimes, the poverty/education/crime rate triumvirate, the fact that he was still clearly beaten and his surgery only helped the police kill him faster, your blatant, weak attempts to hide your racism, what?

I don't see anyone saying anything racist--or is simply criticizing a person of a certain demographic "racist?"

Exactly. As I posted previously there was the other prisoner in the van with him, who I believe is key to all this. Won't it be a hoot if the other prisoner, and not the cops, gave him the fatal injuries? I guess all the thugs who vandalized Baltimore will then take it back and cleanup/rebuild.

They contacted who?
When?
Sounds like BS to me.

Oh look, now it's on the top page of before its news dot com...

Must be full of substance.

No one goes out one week after spinal surgery...

Source;
My mum broke her back and she has had numerous surgeries...

& so have a lot of her friends from the hospital she stayed at.

& no, they wouldn't be out prancing about 1 week after major surgery on their spine without being in absolute agony.

I'm calling BS.

Unless he was on a Meth & Crack cocktail.

Have you seen something I haven't? Clearly beaten when exactly? Or was his back broken because they had to take him down since he ran and was a dangerous, multiple offense criminal that had just had back surgery a week before?

He also came with money from a law sue back in the 90s and obviously didn't improve himself, the opportunity was there but what happen?, still his injuries were brutal we all agree on that, and that is something unacceptable even on the worst of maybe criminals as we know you are innocent until proven otherwise.

The fact that I didn't say who I thought said something racist, and you decided it was you seems an indicator that you already think you are .
In the wake of so much incredible police violence in America right now, there's still a thread full of people working hard to exonerate the police any way they can in a situation that Mr. Magoo could see stinks to the stratosphere.

All I saw was the dead guy from the back of the van.

Good demonizing/repeating of the 'multiple offense criminal' line, but why are you so comfortable with police acting as judge, jury and executioner and avoiding the due process promised by the Constitution of your country. Why are you so anti-American?

Don't go fishing my friend that is not a good thing to do around here, specially when we are just speculating about the injuries and most people understand that the young man was brutally hurt by the police.
