man i loved remo williams when i was a kid...that was so good..of course if i watched now id probably think it was stupid but maybe i should try it.

another one to add is....remember billy jack? I can't believe he didnt take off more. He had that clint eastwood style look in his face...that expressionless look but confidence behind the eyes.

disappointed in remo. supposed to be start of a series.

'Octagon' wi Chuck Norris. and Lee Van Cleef as 'an anti-terrorist named McCarn'.

No Retreat No Surrender was one of our "Retro Items of the Week" in the Office recently. (Previous entries have included Ivor the Engine, Bagpuss and Children of The Stones. For all you UK Members)

"So, it is you, the Son, is it not?"

"But this time it will be different, Russian."

Crazy what you can recall from your Youth but still struggle with what you had for lunch last Wednesdsy.

I'm biased when it comes to best of the best. Yung Kim being my favorite of the bad guys. That guy is a really, really good martial artist in real life. Hell they all were on the Korean team.

American Ninja had one of the best action/comedy supporting actors for it's time who never got big due to unfortunate circumstances. RIP Steve James. Heard Michael Dudikoff is one of the nicest guys you could meet, and doing just fine, not one of those actors that disappeared into some sad has been life, but doing just fine.

As for Sukura Killers it's pretty cheezy but so watchable.

Maybe not as cheesy but The Master with Jet Li and Jerry Trimble. Mr. Trimble is also one of the nicest guys you could ever, ever meet and seriously talented martial artist.

But it cracks me up every time to see a nice guy play a "Bad Guy." So in that regard, for me the movie is cheesy.

Sho Kosugi's Revenge of the Ninja.

And the story of riki oh. Unfortunately i's from 1991. But so damned cheesy it deserves an honorary mention.

Just outside of the 80's in 1993, an underrated Karate kid style movie which is a so bad it's actually great
is SHOWDOWN (1993) Starring Billy blanks.

The best film from him though is King of the kickboxers.

You want a cheesy billy blanks film check out Balance of Powers "Sauna test" scene.

It's a pity we can't do 90's cheesy martial arts too. China O'Brian, Tiger Claws, Street Justice, Only the Strong. Just about any Andy Sidaris film (they are mostly action but chicks doing bad martial arts is always fun to watch) The list could go on for page's.

Pssst... Tell the OP to say Pre '96 or something.

I'm sure we'll all know films others haven't seen and we'll all find something to watch.

As for Billy Blanks, Balance of powers, I haven't seen that so I'll get on it.
I thought I'd saw every watchable movie with him in.
