Did I See A Shadow Person?

To be honest, i might have been a bit more scared if it wasn not for the first place i lived. It was awful, banging, scratching the feeling you were being watched, voices and shadow things being seen all over. I was only there for a year but in that year so much happened and i put it down to something negative being in the house.

Now when ever i see the odd thing it doesn't really frighten me at all. I can usually sense the atmosphere in the house im in. While im a long way from being sensitive to things i usually get a bad vibe in bad places or company. What ever is in my house now is not out to hurt or scare me. I think it was just curious and wanted me to know it.

It sounds like what ever you saw was definitely putting out a bad vibe. If you hadn't seen it before or since maybe it was just passing throug?

While im a long way from being sensitive to things i usually get a bad vibe in bad places or company.

I am very sensitive since childhood to feelings in places and about people it certainly sounds as though you are sensitive.

After I realized what I had seen I was afraid, my husband had a long drive t come home over winding bad roads. My Mother is in her late 80's and not well, my kitty was very sick the next day. I kept thinking it was the foretelling of something really bad, but nothing has come of it thank god!

This is why I started wondering about "shadow people" I have seen so many people speak of them on ATS and really did not pay much attention. What is a shadow anyway I thought they were just possibly seeing shadows. Now I am wonder who sees them and why those persons see them.

So yes maybe this was just some one time incident although the knocks were clear and made me look so I suspect I was supposed to see.

I am very familiar with that particular "jab" of fear. It is as if something from your very soul is alerting you to something of extreme and immediate concern to your being.

As I understand it, it wasn't the knocking sound that caused your fear; the knock was to wake you, and with a gentle , soft , familiar knock.

When you saw the shadow figure did it remain still?

My sense is it was not malevolent as it could have announced its presence much differently and very sinister.

The intensity of your fear could be the combination of you seeing it and it seeing you see it. Does that make sense? I suspect you are a "sensor", meaning you are in perfect tune with the energies around you, thus making you aware of things outside the realm of "normal".

I hope you never experience that fear again and you remain surrounded by the pure, white light of your Creator's love.

Rereading your post I have to agree with you, I have been researching as I only wonder why this occurred. I am very sensitive to the people and places around me, sometimes things or people feel really really good or really really bad the effect is instant and powerful. If it is bad sometimes it makes me start to shake and cry.

I don't think this being meant me harm, the instant feeling of terror was just that I think shock, I notice that many people who have seen the same show them in the doorway just like my experience but this was taller and wider than the door because it blocked the white I should have seen of the door completely. Clearly they have mass they are not see through from what I am reading.

These two most closely resembles what I saw except it had to be very tall and wide way larger than any human.
There were no eyes on what I saw or anything glowing. But this was the shape. Since I dismissed it after the initial reaction because I thought it was the dark of the open doorway I have to wonder what would have happened had I known the door was closed and should be seeing the white door.

This is not easily forgotten and preys on my mind.

Life force Energy takes form in the only way it can...and that's often not the way WE would like it to. It is felt more than seen. Black is malevolent in Hollywood horror movies. We have been programmed to this for decades.

Malevolence to a sensor is instantly felt. When it is near you...you KNOW it without question.

Perhaps this shadow is a guide, here to slowly open you to that which you do not yet know but are to come to know.
