I don't think that showma ship provides any help to a kid who has been subject to abuse, and it does not analyse how offenders are allowed to take
their actions from viewing abuse images to creating their own via grooming or kidnap etc... With a view to preventing similar outrages.
For me it's more important to see what failures occurred in oversight and monitoring and reassessing how we monitor offenders, or alter the law to
lock these people up rather than effectively ignoring their actions.
And far more support is needed for the victims, to allow them a decent chance of recovery.
I get the outrage, but there needs to be substance to our reactions too.
