Why are you against the big bang? If god created the universe, doesn't it kind of make sense that it would start in a big expansion of time, space and energy? Why are creationists in general against the idea? Big bang could be seen as god's moment of creation, but you choose fight it instead. Why is this?

I at least understand why you'd oppose abiogenesis or even evolution, but the big bang should justify your belief in god, right? This isn't a trap or an argument against your beliefs, I'm genuinely curious.

No amount of evidence will ever convince him, because his inherent bias will not allow him to admit that it's evidence in the first place. Evolution is not a cult. The rest of the world regards it as being a key tenet of basic biology. Creationists can wail all they like, but scientific evidence tends to win over religion. In fact, proof of evolution shows that creationism itself is based on faulty reasoning and no facts. Which naturally is why creationists have attacked evolution so hysterically.

I am against the big bang on scientific grounds, an atom so dense that it explodes into the universe, thats not science its stupidity.

You do know Barcs I can believe that God created life via abiogenesis and that evolution is God guiding life supernaturally.
I can also state that the Adam and Eve story is an allegory, they are used alot in the bible.

But I dont because on a scientific level I want evidence, good solid scientific evidence.

So you are telling me I should think God did the Big Bang but I cant think God could do evolution or abiogenesis.

The funny thing is I once believed in evolution, that humanity evolved from the primordial soup.It wasnt evidence that made me think this way, it was being told by others.
What made me lose my religion was the lack of evidence and its quite possible good solid scientific evidence will be produced to win me back, irrespective your pathetic arguments that validates evolution for you.

I am not attacking evolution, just the faith based science that the academy uses to justify their beliefs.

If it was so cut and dry why so much research still going on.

If the answer is no for either then it is obvious.

It was probably about 1964, maybe 1965 that I asked my grandfather about Noah's ark. I knew he was born and lived just below mount Ararat, on the Turkish side. His great uncle was (Armenian) minister of finances for Turkey. His grandmother was a princess, or something like that. My aunt who is in her late 80s recently told me about the princess part, and dad told me about the uncle.

So back to grandpa. He left Turkey in 1910, after turkish came into our city and burned down the college and church, and murdered the missionaries. The Turks were radical Muslims.My great grandpa came to Philidelphia and went to work in a steelmill, sending gold coins to grandma in the mail. When things got real hot, she took my grandpa and his little brother and walked across the continent, and got on a ship in Cypress and came here to join Great Grandpa. We took another American name. We are though, Moomjian.

In the 60s I asked Grandpa about Noahs ark. I asked if it was just a fairy tale. His eyes got really big. His jaw dropped. He looked me in the eyes, and said "******, had the people in our village heard you ask such a thing, they would have thought you were a fool. Of course it is real. It is very very high up on the mountain and buried in ice. It is only accessable in times when there has been at least 15 years consecutive drought, and people from our village have been on it. It is very large, intact, and petrified. "

Ive asked my dad if grandpa would have lied to me and he said no. All this stuff Im telling you sounds like a heap of BS, and guess what? Its not. Its all real. Its all true.
You cannot stay at the elevation where the Ark is located. You are dying. It is so high up, the oxygen levels are too low. How in the hell did it get up that high with some regional incident?

So I don't believe your claim you would accept evolution if shown the evidence because what you want as evidence is impossible to show and you know it.

We're calling you out on it. Link after link after link of hard, verifiable, testable proof - evidence in other words - has been provided in this and other threads. I can take the story in Genesis as an allegory if I so wish with no fear of Gods retrubution.

I dont see the scientific evidence offered as valid.

Oh as for Jesus, yeah not much evidence, just a few eyewitness accounts, very much unlike evolution.
