Hillary Clinton for President - Odd Logo and already some buzz

As a graphic designer by trade, this really is pretty terrible for many reasons already stated (especially that red is associated with Republicans, as is 'the right,' which is where the arrow is pointing).

That said, most political campaing logos suck (Obama's being pretty much the only exception, but they paid the price for it). It will all depend on how it gets used in the marketing and if it gets adapted in different ways during the campaign.

But as it stands right now, it's quite terrible.

I see a red, phallic-shaped column, topped with a triangular capstone, two blue squares, two blue cornerstones, two blue pillars forming the numerical value of "eleven", and a red, non-directional arrow pointing somewhere, depending on your perspective.

Overall, there's nothing to "see" here. Just a simple symbol as a sign of a time. I'm moving along, now.

That's how I stand on the term as well. Hillary doesn't appear to have the qualities your average female possesses. She is heartless and quite probably soulless as well.

As a designer, this logo makes me cringe.

Which as a designer I believe this logo fits her perfectly because of the similarity's to her. As in the same manner that owners have dogs they resmble..

Its off balance.. Hurts the eyes... Everyone has a different interpretation of it and you know you definitelty don't want to keep looking it it.. Ever again.

I'm a graphic designer myself, and you are on point... It's just a minimalist logo that points to the right for PROGRESS. Remember folks she's a self proclaimed progressive...

Though she could have used a better sans serif font. Those hard edges do remind me of her though.

So nobody should read into this further. You will sound crazy for something very simple and honestly with little thought put into it.

Agreed on such a bad font because it isn't a font. Its just 3 vertical rectangles of equal proportion bisected by an equally sized horizontal rectangle with a fkd up arrow head stretched to fit an already effed up rectangle...
Rectangle has uncanny similarities to rectum..

Personally this looks like many designs were submitted.. None were chosen and a frustrated designer gave in and made a design directed by Hillary.. She probably sat there after many hours of creative work was done.. Said !naaaah" do it like this and loved whatever came out because she directed it..... At least that's my occasional experience as a designer which matches this cluster of a logo
