Yes! Especially now with all the clothing branded with "OBEY" on them. I'm pretty sure 99.9% of the people wearing that clothing have no idea what it references or the fact that they are exemplifying the film's message with their ignorance.

Plus, nothing beats a fist fight over sunglasses.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Just a great all around comedy before the devil took a steamy dump on Hollywood.
The others mentioned above too yup yup!

I hear ya! Steve Martin, especially, is a bit tedious, but that's his shtick.

My gf hates that Power of love song with a passion now. I had it set as my alarm ringtone.

Was super proud when my daughter came home as was (in her words) "OMG I saw the bestest movie eva dad! " I ask her what movie she was on about...
"The Breakfast Club" (1985).
Couldn't agree with her more. Was a great movie, the corny bits back then only now add to it's charm.

lol, I will say that I saw that movie again 'What about bob' on cable the other day and it kind of reminds my of your Avatar every time I see it now. You can't go wrong with a Bill Murray movie, he's hilarious and really funny actor.

Anyway, I'm technically a millennial because I turned 18 in 2001, but I still grew up with a lot of 80's movies. Some of the ones I used to love as a kid are,

A nightmare on elm street
Child Play
Gremlins, lol
Rambo
Robo Cop
Beverly Hills cop
Lethal Weapon
Indiana Jones

I could name a hundred others and there probably all considered kind of silly movies by today's standards (except for lethal weapon, that movie stands up to time, lol). But they were some of my favorites as a kid and I still love watching them occasionally for nostalgic value.

I grew up watching Jackie Chan`s and Jet Li`s movies and they are awesome even today, after many re-watch too.
Also there are great many Chinese action movies from that period.

Other than that i watch pretty much same movies than others in this topic, Mandroid7 mentioned some of the favorites indeed
