I did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Does anybody know where I can find a site that sells Colt SAA's for a reasonable price? This would be for practical use, not as an antique or anything... I've been having trouble finding anything and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you're in the market for a single-action shooter, you should look at the line of Rugers available.

The Vaquero is but one example, this one is in .45 Colt and .45 Auto.

Ruger is known for rugged, reliability and, arguably, the strongest firearms made.

I have never really been into older guns for collections because it can be very expensive, and I could never see owning a gun and never firing it. But since you want one for practical use it might save you a great dea; of money.

At the range I go to they have a day every once and in awhile were everyone comes to shoot their old guns cowboy shoot out or something like that. Never been to one they dont allow AKs and Glocks but they look interesting.

I actually like the S&W Schofield, very sexy 6-shooter, but i'd have a pistol rather than that any day...
