Yes it is easier to jump in at the beginning however, anyone at any time can find a way to jump in. To test the waters, one may have a character lurking and observing in the background at first or simply just appear anywhere in the realm and make their character known.

What I like so far is that people are playing their own parts and not the parts of other's. I don't care to play the parts of other people's characters as I would much rather they develop their own characters and have them where they want, doing what they want. On other forums I have seen where someone's character was put into situations that wasn't quite right for them or their character doing or saying something that the creator wouldn't normally have them doing.

Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

Yes I have some thought on this night. Basically the same as Yours. HI will continue to control CC's part here though. She is reluctant to write in. That's cool by Me, for a while anyway. Hopefully She will get over Her shyness here and join in with Her own writing.. Other than that, I agree with all you said. Ok, Story bit from Me coming in, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Syx woke up from the 'dream ' he was having. He thought it must have been a Dream because He had never before felt the way he did just a moment ago! He was feeling like he was just a wisp of Smoke, and swirls of colors that were beautiful to see. He was now a bit light headed and his vision was beginning to clear. 'That must have been a dream. I feel so odd right now. Oh Yes! How could I not know that we must have just made the jump! Blessed Be that we must now be in Our New Realm!' He thought to himself. and then some thoughts entered his Mind from Shadow, the Wolf Lord. He now had all the information sent from the Great Wolf Lord.

'This is fantastic!' He thought to himself. Thinking now that he would go out of the dark place he was in and see what was really going on. He got up from the floor of where he sat and looked around. It was very dark but he could see a slit of light, coming from under what must be a door. He looked at the light on the floor and walked towards it.

He reached forward and felt a walled rock surface and soon had a door knob of some kind in his hand. Turning it and opening the door he was assaulted by bright daylight! He covered his eyes and slowly opened them, squinting at all the brightness. He soon was able to fully open his eyes and beheld a wounderous sight! Trees that were different from what He was used to and green and blue shrubbery was all around. He looked back at where he had just came from and saw that it was a solid rock structure. The bottom of a rock cliff is what He saw! There was no door, or any other opening he could see. 'How strange.' he thought to himself.

He walked a short way around the bend of rock and saw some of his friends and His mate CCBears milling about a structure. 'This must be the Shed.' he thought.

Off to the side he saw a gaggle of Dragons. 'This is great! My Dragon friends are here as well!' He thought as he headed towards them. Reaching the Dragons, Syx sent with His mind, 'Would you all like to go on an exploring Flight? We should probably check this place out to see our island and everything from above and let the others know of what we have seen!'

Roars and fire blasting into the air was the response from His Dragon Friends. He removed his clothing and shape-shifted into his dragon form.
Soon the Dragons were in the air and could see the entire island down below them.

Trees and underbrush of all colors was a sight to behold from the sky! it was beautiful! The island was larger than before as well! 'This is fantastic!' he sent to the other Dragons. 'Let us continue our flight for a while and then return to tell the others of our findings!' Was the last thought Syx sent as they continued their fact finding flight...

The elven maiden was disappointed that Hugo had left so abruptly. Perhaps she should have been more polite. She had hoped that she would see him again and get to know him better. Storm stretched his enormous leathery wings, then curled up on the earthen floor. "I know what you are thinking little one. You want to try to find Hugo, but I am weary from the transformation of worlds and need rest." He closed one eye. "Don't you dare go off without me getting yourself into trouble you can't get out of." He heaved a heavy sigh and closed the other eye before falling into a dreamless sleep.

Night looked at the white wolf and the Pesky Pixie and laughed softly. "And just how safe does Storm think we'll be with his snoring so loud he could wake the entire planet? Surely we will be discovered." The Pesky Pixie's wings fluttered so fast, it was a blur of iridescent colors in mid air. She softly landed on Storm's nose and blew pixie dust into his face. A quick sneeze and Storm was as quiet as could be.

Night Star sat upon a fallen log taking in the majesty of the forest and all its beauty. The sun was warm upon her face as a cool breeze danced through her silken hair. Wolf curled up at her feet resting yet alert.

Oh You snuck up on me you silly dragon! Loved the entry Syx! Yes indeed, do continue to play CC's part as you have been doing! I am so happy with our new chapter, our new beginnings and new members joining in our adventures. Great writers with creative and fun ideas!

I would like to take this time to tell some of our readers that are hesitant to join...I once wrote in collaborative stories on a writer's forum though I am no published author. It took me months to decide to join in any adventures as I felt I could never ever measure up to some of the writers there. It took a lot of encouragement from a couple of friends there before I attempted my introductory post and I was so afraid I would ruin the story. Joining them was the most amazing experience ever! The tales we told and the adventures we experienced together as a group was magical.

You don't need big fancy words to tell a story. You don't have to be a published author. All you need is an imagination and we all have that. I don't want anyone to hesitate for a second or feel they aren't talented or good enough. You are!

Well said Night My little Elven Friend! All You new writers to be have to do is look at My story entry. Nothing fancy, just some words! That is how I joined these guys a long time ago. I just wrote in something and was welcomed with open arms! From there I kept writing stories, both here and some on their own, and now have writers status! So If I can do it, so can YOU!!!

This is how you will be treated here as well! Our arms are wide open waiting for you to come in and recieve the Hug! I have grown so close to these people whom I can now consider good friends! We all share our ups and downs. It has been and will continue to be a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, fun and warmth!

So don't be shy! Jump right in as the waters are warm!!

My last post in the story line and my good-bye. This one is not going to be easy for me so it may be a bit. But I feel I owe it to you of the Shed community…The message is between the lines so to speak.



Anteros came back from his wanderings checking out the Shed and it’s denizens and snuggled back into TDawgs mind as he sat looking into the flames of a campfire. “What troubles you friend?”

“Nothing”

“You know that I can read and experience your thoughts and memories don’t you, or have you forgot that? I think of you as a friend and want to help. I prefer to ask rather than to invade.” Anteros was adamant. “Something is on your mind.”

“Well, what did you see? What’s going on with our friends?”

“Don’t try to change the subject…what troubles you?” Antheos insisted.

“The subject is the same, it’s you who doesn’t see it Anty. The original crew has wandered off to explore other realms, they have gone their ways and I have as well. And while you have told me that new people have showed up and they are valiant and brave and I do wish them all the best, I have had enough of battle. Adventure shouldn’t be always be battling something.”

“Life is a battle.”

“Um, I think I told you that once.”

“Yes, you did, and very wise and succinct words at that. You should remember too…how do you say it?...Practice what you preach.? You have experienced a lot in life, even more than I did since I’ve walked this plain in mortal form. Your memories are still intact as is your instinct. I think that there is more at play here than you are letting on. You feel very conflicted to me right now. I think of myself as your friend, even brother, and I want to help.”

“Humpf!”

“And what is that supposed to mean?” Anteros asked.

“I think I want to return to my own realm.”

“Excuse me?” Anteros asked, “what do you mean by that?”

“There is too much confusion here. Confusion in my own mind that is. I have no majick and have no effect it seems. I’m sick of being conflicted and confused.”

Anheros scoffed. “But there is conflict in your realm as well. You can’t escape it. It is everywhere.”

“That may be true, but the saying goes. Do want you can, when you can.” Tdawg shrugged, “ I gotta do what I can and where I feel I am making a difference. If I’m going to fight, I want to see results.”

“Can I join you in this quest? And, um, is it dangerous? After all, if you pass, so will I.” Anteros asked tentatively.

TDawg chuckled, “No, I don’t think it’s dangerous, though I guess it could be, as for every action, there is an reaction. I have been asked to be a Guardian of another realm and I accepted, as such, I must choose sides.”

“And just who is the other realm in conflict with? Are they evil?” Anteros wondered aloud.

“No Anty, they’re not evil, just misguided in my opinion and they are in a conflict of sorts with the realm I have chosen to help.” TDawg frowned. “It saddens me that it has come to this. There is plenty of room for realms of all kinds in my opinion.”

Anteros broke out laughing, “Oh Yes my friend! You ARE opinionated. But I don’t see that as a bad thing. Why can’t you, how does Jane say it? *Flit-Poof!* back and forth betwix these realms?”

“Because I don’t see that as being honest, to myself, or my friends. I hate being hypocritical.” TDawg tossed another log into the fire. “I have found out long ago, that having friends that dislike each other brings undo stress into your own life and at some point, whether you want it or not, a friendship will be broken, causing even more stress. So I find that if I address the issue as soon as it rears its ugly head is the best way of dealing with it. You have to weigh the pros and cons.”

“And who are these tribes?” Why haven’t I ever heard of them? Is the Shed denizens allied with the Pros or the Cons? Whoever is against the Shed, I will gladly do battle with!”

“Relax Anty”, TDawg rolled his eyes, “It is just a way of saying that I have weighed the positives and the negatives in a certain situation. And in this situation, I have to say that it is time I leave this realm and travel to another; after all, I have duties there now that I have committed myself too.”

“Commitment is a very important thing. Honor is at stake.”

“Yes, it is Anteros, and I do take it seriously. I would be honored if you joined me on this new adventure though.”

“Where you go, I follow willingly” Anteros intoned solemnly.

A mist opened between two trees. “Well I think that’s our call.”

And together (or rather one) they stepped through.



And with that folks, I’ll see ya in the other realms with luck. I bid you a fond farewell.

Hello big boy dragon! I'm trying out the name Kya for him. It means diamond in the sky. Perfect because his Mommy is Night Star.

Should call him ghost or spirit because he magically appears and disappears. LOL! You'll see him sitting under the table in the kitchen and the next thing you know it, he's coming out of another room. He keeps doing that. We'll insist he is one room where we last saw him then flit poof and he's coming from another room. He is fast and quiet in his movement. Oh, maybe we should have called him spooky. LOL

Hello all!

A good morning or evening or whatever to you!

I am trying to get my head clear from some early morning frustrations. Bought a computer game for my son that would not launch and banged my head against the wall, spoke with customer service on chat, etc. but am still waiting for the information to come through via email regarding how to fix the dang problem... grr... It sort of got me in the wrong mood. SO I am pulling myself OUT of the wrong mood and into a better place!

(Breathing in, breathing out...repeat...)
