I love the name of your new town. I am surrounded by coal and coal mining, something you don’t hear anymore.

Hey, hey!!

I'm just curled up in a chair by the fireplace...eating a box of chocolate brandy beans, lol.

Kinda lurking, kinda bored...trying to think of something interesting to write...also apparently, kinda blank!!

Just wanted to say "hi".

Hiya Martin and Jacy!

Chocolate brandy beans?
That sounds pretty interesting. Did the pixies make them or is this something that is actually available in the muggles world?

Wow, my Sister surprised the hell out of me and sent me a gorgeous Christmas arrangement from a florist shop. The card said, "Thank you for all that you've done and who you are." Made me cry happy tears!

Ooooohh, Chocolate Brandy Beans. Yummy.

Night, If you have never tried them, I would suggest you do.

www.amazon.com...

I have only had Trader-Joe's. I hear there are some you can get over the pond that are much better. Probably more expensive.

Oh my LOL!!!!

I have seen those before. But never have seen anyone wear one.

Dang, Ya drop a pic or do a crazy solo and BOOM. You blow up your electronics. LOL!!!!

Hi Star,

I must say, I give you kudo's for wanting to be a teacher. We rarely get recognized for the hard work we do, and the pay sucks.

But it's not about that is it? I love it, when you see a child's face light up, when they "GET IT" It's better than anything. The little ones are so honest and pleasers. It really used to make my day.

After many years, I got burnt out. I don't know if I will ever go back, but, well see.

What conspiracy theory led you to ATS?

Are you a former High School Teacher?

By the way what you said reminds of this particular incident.

I remembered I thank the teacher I observed (In my college there is this class called teacher prep and you have to observe high school teachers and their class) and she said "please come back at anytime because my students want you in". (When I was observing I participated in the class and gave out my opinions and new ideas)

Are you Farah Yurdozu by any chance?

Star until you mentioned her I had no idea she is a famous Turkish ufo "researcher". I will have to look into that.
Why did you think I was her, just curious.

She does though, look oddly familiar in a rather uncomfortable manner. Hmmm

Oooops sorry. I just like the artwork that's why.

Where you from then? Just to clear things. I am from LA as in where Hollyweird is.

Oooops sorry.

No sorry, please, unless you attack me head on you are safe.

Where you from then? Just to clear things.

Ahh a personal question. I am from here and there and every where.
Just to "clear things". You asked the wrong person for a clear answer.
My roots are in the foot hills of mountain, rock, river and forest. Spawned by a gentile Viking maiden and a swarthy southerner, transplanted to this vast continent.
Traveling, moving, wandering from a young age, a wee child I was conditioned to wander.
So where am I from? All the places I have been, my friend.
Now. I am where I am and intend to stay.

Sorry Star, being so elusive, but a devil gets in to me when people ask that question as if to put me in a box. People who have lived their whole lives in a cubicle can't relate to me.
Central US my Dear, where shoveling snow is mentioned even during the Dog days of summer. "Well at least we're not shoveling snow"
Season Cheers

We are all in this together, I believe Gordi is the one up front.

Cody must be pushing, all that muscle.
Syx this must be you putting the star on our tree.

Night Mom died way too many years ago and Dad fallowed right behind.
The first year was (crying) a struggle. My whole life fell apart. Oddly I didn't see it that way.
I am happy to hear you have your sister. All though a comfort it doesn't take away the pain, the urge to call her, to reach out and hold her hand.
I still want to tell Mom how my day was, I still want to ask Dad how he is, I still cry, pathetic after almost thirty years.

It takes a long time My Dear. To love is to keep.

Well I'll accept your answer because well I like how you made it poetic. I wished I'm like that but I tend to have a more direct approach. I myself can be elusive too though its just if you were to meet me face to face well I don't look like the type of person who is mysterious. lol

Central US, I confess I do want to move there one day because well bring near Hollyweird can be a bit stressful (Traffic, shallow people from Beverly Hills [though there are also great people also], etc.)

No. 4th & 5th grade. I always loved the little ones.

High School, Too Smart A$$ for me. I enjoy them when they still want to learn. LOL!!!

OK, I'm being over reactive. Most kids want to learn. And they want to be guided.

It's the far and few between that scare me.

Dawg walked thru the portal with a bit of trepidation. It had been some time since he had been to these realms though he had been kept appraised through the magic of this world in the recent past through Arty. He always missed it he guessed, but it had become a battleground of sorts he figured, and as such decided that he needed to go elsewhere. That elsewhere led to even more battlegrounds. Dawg had enough of battlegrounds and now found himself alone with no realm to call home.

He looked around, and sensed the new presences along with many old familiar ones as well.

“No place like home, eh Dawg?” Arty echoed in his head.

Dawg shouldered his pack over his shoulder and did a short hop to settle it into place. “Shut the eff up Arty. Home is where I lay my head.”

“Same stories, new names.” Arty chuckled. “Life doesn’t change all that much from my time I see. Though it is nice to see some familiar faces.”

“We’ll see Arty, we’ll see.”

Thanx Kat!

I do have a surprise B-Day party for my niece that I have to deliver some food to tonight. I'll stick around that long enough, though not long enough to be creepy. Hehe. Younger crowd and all at the bar. If she was 15, I could at least consider myself to be a chaperon. She's hitting the BIG 30 tonight.

I'll be back.

Be honest. The little buggers can see right through you.

Some day's ya just lose them. It's not the end of the world. Tomorrow is another day.

Enjoy what you do. When you start to feel it is just a job..... Walk away.

I'll talk to ya tomorrow if we don't connect tonight.

And STOP looking at your niece like that.!!!!!

Your saying reminds me of my high school chemistry teacher. While he was a great guy and all, he doesn't seem to be really good at controlling the students' behavior. Like he would figuratively let students step over him.

Don't worry I don't see it as a job. In fact when I go to back to the class I observed, I'm not being paid but nevertheless I went there because I like to help the students out.
