In a Dutch zoo they wanted some nice fly overs of their monky enclosure...

But the monkey took a branch... en knocked the drone out of the sky !

I guess they like their privacy as well.

Agreed, it must be a feature of the homo genus.

Um, I hate that I have to indicate that that is a scientific term, not a gay joke.

Holy Planet of the Apes Batman - you know there is something seriously wrong when even our animal friends can't stand human tech.

Now, if only these Apes had bat-wings, we could get them to do our bidding....mwhhaaaa.

That is hilarious! They seem to be living in a nice open space, but maybe they would prefer a denser environment? Suffice it to say they are not welcoming the intrusion. Remember when news came out years ago from the scientific community that they knew how to use tools. Interesting to note that no one finds that unusual nowadays, as that little guy not only used the stick automatically but also quite accurately. Maybe we ought to consider teaching them how to play baseball or soccer. I bet they'd be good at it.

Learned something today.

I'm not a native English speaker, and i did never knew there was a difference in English between Monkey and Ape.

So i should have called this one an Ape.

Tnx.

At least we know if their is a drone war in the future we can count on the animals as allies?

Here's a post I did on a hawk attacking a drone.

Great vid....i love chimps. Very intelligent little creatures.

Minor semantics...but that is an ape, not a monkey. They are the same like a fox and a dog being the same.

I'd probably do the same if there was some loud annoying buzzing object flying close enough for me to hit in my airspace. So really, I can't blame the chimp. It should be common sense that if you don't want your drone getting broken, just got to fly it out of reach. (And that includes thrown objects.)
