Formula to calculate mammals lifespan

I just thought some of you might find this interesting. A couple years back I was watching a nature documentary and it was talking about the relation of heartbeats an animal has within a lifetime and how no matter what size or type of animal the average lifspan matched to the total heartbeats. I found a site where scientists have actually come up with a working formula for it. There is also a bit more info about this subject there too for those interested.
