I think it should stop the war on terror, yes. I think we are just making things worse.

But what does that have to do with the idea that War is profitable??

OP is struggling with English . It's a amazing language in that it has the ability to be quite precise yet at the same time so vague as to render it a curse . That is the rhetoric game that lawyers as well as politicians become masters of . OP thinks that most in this thread disagree with him at the same time as we do agree with him ...quite the conundrum I would say .

Is that what the problem is??? Thanks for the tip because I was starting to get a "Eff You Buddy" thing boiling up in me the more we talked. I actually agree with him in the op but at first we weren't even talking about that which made it even worse. I was just trying to show him why people say "War is profitable", which it is for some people. Profit for some doesn't mean it's good for everyone. But anyway.....thanks for the heads up..

Not that it couldn't be dropped, not that they were mitigating reasons for not being dropped it was solely my opinion that it should be dropped.

My first reply didn't have to do with that question at all. I was just trying to show why people say War is profitable while at the same time it's responsible for increasing debt. You seemed to think that it didn't make sense that it could do both at the same time but it can. It can break down the nation as a whole and be a burden on the people while at the same time make private business and certain people very rich.

Well, no actually what I wanted is that if you disagree, fine, but show me why. Give me a counter example or something telling my why it is that you don't agree.

Just telling me, "Meh, your wrong" isn't anything. You neither disprove what I've said nor prove anything yourself. You're just telling me I'm wrong and walking away. If that's all you can do then just don't say anything. Or show me your side. Don't just say I'm wrong and expect me to accept it. Have your own side to present if you don't like mine.

So basically another post I sent to you was accurate. You could not have cared one bit about what was in the OP you were just looking for a argument on the merits of the military industrial complex.


But by all means don't find comfort that the points so many of you express has finally swayed my opinion. Just look for another reason to argue .

For some reason I do not find that quote sincere. It seems more like immaturity when finally recognizing the point of the OP and shame.

it's too late to just quit now because once you draw the sword you become an enemy forever, quitting means death in the end.
why do you think ancient nations used genocide so often? because they knew that once you use violence the survivors will eventually come after you and destroy you even after centuries of time have passed.

I agree with you my friend, I would also like to see the war on drugs abandoned. I do think we need a to see a "War on ignorance in the US".

The fact that you simply must be an jerk even when I'm in agreement with you makes me want to argue with you out of spite however, but I'm not going to waste my time.

You still haven't offered up anything to counter anything I've said in regard to War Profiteering either and until you do there is nothing more for us to talk about.
