"Suggestion: Adding Notifications for Quotes and Mentions"

For example in the upper right corner of the screen where the menu is, you can put a link for notifications and everytime a member gets quoted in a thread, a notification will pop up that can take you to all your quoted posts.

Mentions work by typing @ and a username e.g. '@skeptic overlord' and that member will get a notification that shows up the same way quotes do, a list with all your mentions...user/thread/posts that mentioned you.

I seen this feature on other forums and I think it would be perfect for ATS...especially at the moment.

I think this will spark some new engagement and gusto into convo's, discussions, and debates...and bring a nice new breath of life into the largest conspiracy forum



And if for some reason somebody doesn't want to get notifications give them the option to turn it off, or turn it off for certain users (mods maybe). I don't see people abusing it other than the usual trolls.

WHAT???? There are other forums on the internet besides ATS???? NOOOOO...

Or instead of being lazy .. you can actually go over the thread your posting in and keep up with whats going on in it...
