I can't really speak to the "Jupiter" thing because I remember it always being "Ascending"...

But...

I KNOW that the Bears have been tampered with. How do I know this? Because I specifically remember that when I was a youngin I didn't know if it was pronounced -stine, -steen or -stain. If it was spelled "Berenstain" there would be no question about the pronunciation. Simple as that.

It HAS been changed...or, something has been changed. No one will be able to convince me otherwise.

As to what's going on, I am having fun with all the speculation.

I clearly remember the first articles about the film calling it Jupiter Rising and later changing to J. Ascending. Others pointed to good legal reasons for doing so but there is also the fact that the Wachowski siblings who wrote the script and directed like being subversive.

Rising can also refer to insurrection, rebellion; revolt - a recurring theme in their work (Matrix Revolutions, V is for Vendetta... )

Ascension also has a strong spiritual meaning - again very much a Matrix topic.

It may have been their own little psy op to make the public aware on a mostly subconscious level that we need to take things in our own hands in order to ascend.

The reality shifts/corrections/timelines whatever you want to call them are actually addressed in Jupiter Ascending on several occasions. It is even pointed out that the memory redaction process of the aliens does not work on all humans if I remember right.

It is a real shame the film was not great because it was meant to be another trilogy (yeah, the Matrix sequels sucked) but I think they had very interesting things planned that smell of disclosure.

I'm on the fence about the conspiracy.

It doesn't really matter. Whether there is some human control or there is not, because we do it too. So I gave up on following, FOLLOWING any conspiracies.

I mean the main thing to focus on would be..

What does the world mean to you? What do you want to happen?

Definitely agreed. Choose your own adventure, right?

Conspiracy suggests reasons to be paranoid. I prefer assimilating it all and THEN choosing my path accordingly.

Right. That was the original name around the time news articles were coming out about the project and when they were casting it. Then they changed the name.

Nothing paranormal involved.

Here's a thread about Berenstain Bears
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Several pictures are on there especially this one courtesy of jacygirl.

Did some searching, that image was tampered. here is the real one
the stack of books

Two of my favorite series are Star Trek And Doctor Who. Where temporal events and anomalies are the norm.

It's me belief those are educational programs.

Inside a computer system. Information is supposed to remain static. Unchanged.

And we've become so accustomed to an unchanging system. Forgetting we are an adaptive species, and that we come from a dynamic, adaptive planet.

Now I am finding it more fun to discuss the differences we observe. More often than not, I suspect it's not gonna be about a conspiracy of any kind. That's silly. paranoid even.

To me it was Berenstein. I remember the German name analogy and stain just sounds wrong to me...

In any case. There is no 'right or wrong' - just what's currently being observed and what we agree on IS reality.

Something scientists either have known about for a long time, that their 'theories' shape reality.

And if they don't.

Then they're gonna take second seat to the storytellers who embrace the true art and meaning of what creation really is.

I essence I've discovered if you hammer away at people to really remember they suddenly comply and back up your story. Sometimes people just lie. Maybe ....

Oh most definitely.

My belief is - that within a collective mind, our conscious mind grows roots - and interconnects with other minds through the collective and through the 'root system'.

With this. You can 'share' experiences. Nothing more than simply sharing a collective memory. You can have a single experience that no one else shared with you. And, like you suggested - the root of your memory can be so strong it breaks into someone else's root system - OR your mind provides the conscious experience you're expecting because your mind is tired of fighting you consciously - which is simple compliance and conformity.

I was extremely jealous of women growing up - and I was insistent my 1st ex wife cheated on me - despite her protests otherwise - until she finally confessed. I am convinced my mind simply provided the experience I was asking for and that's ultimately what caused us to go our own directions.

I disliked my jealousy so much afterwards. now I prefer open relationships and when I am not homeless (as I am now) - i prefer dating strippers and escorts. I actually rather enjoy open relationships but this doesn't work well with the vast majority of women.

I suspect in some strange way this unpossessive mindset has contributed to me being homeless...

IT's cool and mature of you to have the insight to know you could be influencing their memories like that.

Human memory is a funny thing. Human ego is also a funny thing. You remember it a certain way, so when your memory is off, rather than your brain just admit your memory may have been a bit off, somehow you come up with an alternate universe idea.

Human memory is very fallible. Sometimes your brain just sees things a certain way. Here's a great example on the Berenstain bears: www.gamestop.com...

Here the seller spells it Berenstein even when clearly on the cover of the game it's spelled Berenstain. For further proof, here's a picture of the original 1962 book cover alongside a 2002 reissue: upload.wikimedia.org...

Of course, maybe your memory is 100% perfect and we did slip into some other universe...right.

I suggest anyone who thinks their memory is infallible take a look at this video: www.history.com...

What is the detailed explanation for how this is supposed to work?

For example, I would assume Mike and Leo Berenstain who are the sons of the authors must think their name is spelled "Berenstain" and has always been spelled "Berenstain" or they would be the first ones to say something about it. I mean, actually, they would have had to start spelling it differently if there was some reality shift and they remembered the old reality. Then you have all the other people who were involved in publishing, laying out the book, writing the checks, writing articles, you name it. None of them must remember the supposed old reality because they would also have had to change how they were spelling it and presumably SOMEBODY would have said something.

So, how does it work that those people don't remember the "old" reality but people posting here do?

Simple Relativity. bub. What I see and experience is not required to be the same thing you see and experience.

That's just common sense.

Memories form a collective basis of sharing information and experiences.

But they're not always going to be 100% in alignment.

If you believe that they are. Then I have some ocean front property to sell you. In Arizona.

When we find that alternate reality where California dropped off the face of the planet into the ocean.

You'll be a rich... being.

Anyways. Go take a hike. Your attempts to debunk a thread that's already seen plenty of traction and support for it is not welcome at this time.

just sayin ;-)

I didn't attempt to debunk anything. I was just pointing out how terrible people's memories are. Aside from that, if you don't want people who disagree with an OP to post, your best bet is to not post, as anyone who has an account is allowed to post their opinion.

You clearly didn't have enough time to watch the video on memory and how terrible it is. Perhaps you watched it in an alternate reality. I mean, that's much more likely than having a less than perfect memory.

ETA:

Anyways. Go take a hike.
Wonderful, if you don't agree with my opinion your facts aren't welcome. I guess you'd like to keep your eyes closed and your head buried in the sand. Feel free.

At the risk of adding some more unwelcome facts, here's a statement from Mike Berenstain, son of the authors of the books.

I normally don't comment on blogs about our family name but yours was so unusual and imaginative that I thought it only appropriate to add my thoughts. "Berenstain" according to our family lore was an attempt by an unknown imigration officer sometime in the late 1800s to reproduce phonetically a highly accented version of the tradtional Jewish name "Bernstein" as pronounced by my Father's grandparents when they came to America from the Ukraine. In that linguistic region, the name tended to come out sounding something like, "Ber'nsheytn". Since that's how the name was originally documented, it has always been spelled that way by our family and it has always been misread and mispronounced by nearly everyone. It has always been "The BerenstAin Bears". Your parallel reality theory is very resourceful but, unfortunately, by applying Occam's razor, we arrive at the explanation that most people have just misread the name.Mike Berenstain (Son of Stan and Jan)

This from this blog: woodbetweenworlds.blogspot.com...
Where a guy has come up with an alternate universe theory rather than just admit he has a poor memory.

Here's a video with the authors of the book where they clearly pronounce is BerenSTAIN:

Again, memory is fallible and often wrong, regardless of what you think. Set your ego aside and it's very clear.

I'm with you and the rest of the steiners. It is shocking to see in actual pictures that the books say stain and the son insists it was always stain and not stein but...I'm sure we didn't all fall down the rabbit hole. Something happened. I don't know what happened or how it happened, but something happened. I easily admit when I'm in doubt or made a mistake, but I remember as clear as day it was Berenstein. I was always good at reading and spelling when I was a kid and I too wondered how to pronounce the name. Berenstain is pretty easy to pronounce, I wouldn't have been wondering how to pronounce that. Not only that, can you imagine the jokes kids would have been making with stain? LOL

The only conspiracy is Google being involved in marketing the movie by putting it first in relevant searches. The movie was originally going to be called "Jupiter Rising" and they changed it. You can find that info via Google;

So where does a new report from Twitch fit in, as it says that the Wachowskis are putting together a film at Warner Bros. called Jupiter Rising, and that it is a “priority project” that is being prepped quickly.

LINK.

The siblings are set up to direct a mysterious film titled Jupiter Ascending for Warner Bros., and are currently looking to cast a big-name star for a spring start date. We first heard rumors of the picture way back in June, though at the time we thought it was called Jupiter Rising and wondered if it might just be a working title for Cloud Atlas.

It looks to me that for the most part this comes down to people who would actually know like Mike Berenstain versus people relying on childhood memories.

Right. It was originally going to be called "Jupiter Rising" and there were media reports about that.

Then they changed the name to "Jupiter Ascending."

No secret. Nothing paranormal. No Google cover-up. The story is easy to find.
