How to Birth Crystal for Change on Easter!

I found this, and did it.

Not using dyes, looks cheesy and only dyes the shell, reflected by the crystlas.
I couldn't find any metaphysical properties for Alum Crystals, so I asked a friend, and she said it's good for "dramatic changes."
So tomorrow afternoon, I'll have some eggshell geodes all about that, after growing in the window all nite.

Sorry to post so late but if you start 'em tomorrow, should be lovely.

To grow larger ones, take the biggest from your geode, do the mixture, then dangle the crystal from thread or wire from a popsicle sitck into the center of the glass.

I used a small thing of alum powder - i'd suggest two, or a larger quantity if you can find it.
there are just as many crystals at the bottom of my bowl as there are in the eggs, and that's not many.
they kinda look like drusy quartz, which is cool...
i'm gonna add more today (have to re-heat the water, etc) and see if i can get em to grow bigger.

i also learned that you can take one of the small ones and suspend it (by string or wire from a popsicle stick) in the middle of a glass of solution and it will grow it into a bigger one.
