Downtime: Early April 4th -- Scheduled Maintenance

This downtime was expected. Our hosting provider needed to perform some scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately, I was supposed to get more notice than 2 minutes.

I almost had a heart attack

It's frightening to see the Mother Ship power down.

Had my pay-pal locked and loaded !

scheduled maintenance with 2 minutes advance =0 what do you pay these people for that sucks!!!

I thought we were getting attacked again.

I'm down with the flu and the incessant coughing got me up out of bed. I noticed ats was down the second
I sat down at my computer. If it's gotta be down for maintenance, this is the best time for it. Glad it's
back up though.

I had a maintenance window of 4 hours, and the support ticket indicated 1 hour advance notice.

By the time I got the notice email, they started the work: a bad hard drive on our load balancer.

Like I said that sucks. I don't do technological stuff much especially servers and all that. but do know it sucks when 15 minutes before I am supposed to leave work I get a call saying that such and such need this, this, and this welded on and you are there now so do it. I call that the surprise attack lol

Thanks for making us aware though, 2 minutes notice is pretty poopie

I can only imagine the panic that results from this site in particular going down for awhile.

woah man it creeps me out when I see something besides ats when my own network isn't spotty.

On the bright side my tablet along with people at nearby tables at coffee shop learned some colourful new words and descriptions of ancestry in a few languages while was attempting to access the site .. thus it wasnt total loss ..

I was in the middle of a reply, hit post and went to my search engine.

I went and checked my other alt news sites and they were up so I figured as much.
