rain rain rain nothing but rain

left for a holiday a few days ago

the weather wasn’t too bad back home

it’s raining now

the further south we got, the worse the weather was

and nsw is dead. just dead for me. old, run down and overrated. and dirty.
ok, australian beaches are unbeatable where ever you are….. and the fish is good.

but that’s it. i know some people walk in the rain and others just get wet! but here it is only cold and miserable and grey.

we are turning back right now.

queensland, here we come !!

please please improve my day. (i’ll be a while till we hit the next hotel back on the gold coast)

I know California could use a lot of rain right now.

Yeah its been raining a bit here....damn shame for bluesfest,makes it a bit miserable walking round in the mud.....in all fairness we didnt have a rainy season at all for the second year in a row...so we are due for quite a bit more of the wet stuff....

And who in their right mind (other than tourists) holiday in the gold coast ?

I feel your pain. It's pouring here. The yard is becoming a pond and the path to the back field is turning into a creek. I think the mud is the worst.

thank you all for your kind words.

i wish you all so much rain for those who want rain, especially may it arrive on the 14th in south australia, that dusty old place.

and no more mud for those who feel like me and had enough of the horror side of too much rain.

and for the record: the further south we drove the better the weather was again. even saw a lovely light blue patch in the sky.

now its night time and am sitting in this beautiful hotel room, looking out of the window into the starry lights of other high rise buildings around the area an hear the waves beating the shore.

but.... the sky is totally overcast, not a single excitement in the heavens except the mysterious nothing

now we have to wait three and a half years or something to see a blood moon again

Did you go to Fiji?
Everytime I went to Fiji from OZ i ended up in a hurricane or rain , and usually blissful sun last 2 days lol.
