Cynthia Lennon R.I.P.

Cynthia Lennon, first wife of ex Beatle John Lennon passed away yesterday. Cynthia was married to John before The Beatles rose to fame and was at his side during those crazy days of early Beatlemania. Although at that time John's marriage to her was kept in the background. She is also the mother to their son Julian Lennon. Cynthia and John where divorced in 1968 when John's affair with Yoko Ono came to light.

Those who knew Cynthia have stated she was a lovely women to be around with.

It always made me sad how John abandoned her and Julian for Yoko. I love the guy but he could be quite cruel.

R.I.P Cynthia. Another good person passes by.

The world isn't perfect. In a perfect world Mark chapman would have shot Yoko Ono.

even though forced to the background she is still part of the stuff of legends.

My old Scout leader went out with her a few times at college, or so he told us around the camp-fire while strumming his Ukulele.

Not that he mentioned it every few weeks or anything.

I've seen several documentaries with her featured in short interviews - lovely lady and he led her a dog's life.

Considering who she was, she could have expected so much more from life.

Then again, maybe it was for the best.

Life must have seemed wonderfully normal for her after he'd buggered off.
