It's not that big. If it happened in Oklahoma it would be routine. And, it would be from fracking. I think this one is mother nature, and it looked
like this on the graph paper.
This new Madrid fault is on top of the watch list of FEMA and TEMA, There are those that say it is overdue for another "bell ringer" with our
current infrastructure, we will be challenged to operate in basic terms with even a mild 6.0 if it hits at the right time. Our emergency mgmt. is very
carefully watching this....
Considering there are quite a few active nuke plants in the area, any disturbance on the new madrid is disturbing. Especially considering the last
big one there created a lake, wrong bells in new england and was over 100 years ago. Imagine that with the population and infrastructure in place
now. would be devastating.
