Jesse Ventura To Host New Heavyweight Current Affairs Show On RT America

Jesse Ventura, the former professional wrestler turned governor of Minnesota, steps into the ring with politicians, journalists and opinion makers for lively debates on his new weekly current affairs program on RT America.

“Off the Grid,” a talk show launched by Ventura last year on Larry King’s Ora TV internet network, will join RT’s Friday evening television line-up beginning this Friday, April 3.

In a statement released by RT, Ventura said the program will showcase “uncensored discussions on the critical issues facing America today.”

“Independent viewpoints such as my own are few and far between,” Ventura said in a statement. “I’m thrilled that my show will be aired on RT America, as well as continuing on Ora TV as my digital home.”

What and Interesting turn of events in the Media world!

I have an Opinion on this ,however I would like to see others before I express my own .

So ATS How do you feel about Gov. Ventura working for RT?

Also i would like the staff to comment on this as well if possible .

What I find troubling is that shows like these are coming in from RT. I knew the MSM was agenda driven but jeez, anything that questions the status quo comes from outside the country or "alternative media" (hate that monkier).

Let's see how this turns out. I am a fan of Crosstalk (I like the host ) so this has potential. On RT no less. Larry King keeps it real so.

I hear you , Jesse Is elementary in the conspiracy world ,However he Is solid on the Politics and other things .

See the Gov'na has something many of us don't have and that is a "loud" voice to protest ,due to his political background and career.

Maybe this just might be a good thing eh ?

Well Jesse is certainly a man on a mission, I just watched an oldish documentary of his on Tru TV about Infragard, which is basically a spy-on-your-neighbour-organisation and get brownie points of information in advance from those in the knowish.
Maybe Jesse is trying to get close to Edward Snowden rather than The Guardian, who certainly has it all sewn up, as far as intrigue is concerned.

Honestly if they were smart they would let him criticize Putin for two reasons.

#1. Nobody really pays him any attention anymore anyway.

#2. Since the inception of RT you cannot find three articles in which Putin was criticized. It's about time they covered that whole.

I have had my fill of Jesse Ventura and his pretend to be on the American peoples side lifestyle, meanwhile he slips over the border and moves to Baja Mexico. His dopey show about conspiracy theories, you know the show where he flew around the country at the production companies expense, and never getting to the bottom of anything that was it for me.

Boo. Ventura is a fraud. He admittedly will say whatever he is paid to say. He belittled fans of his conspiracy theory show for putting any faith in it.

I would just as soon trust Johnny Knoxville to host the Nightly News.

Then again, I guess Ventura would fit right in with all the other liars in media, he can be the dumb, ugly version of Brian Williams.

The US will continually elect unqualified celebrities to political office, so why not trust a former bad guy professional wrestler?
