The miracle of the moon

I have a question for all our resident "Lunatics" . Its a fair question and a good one.

What would our world look like if there were no moon, and no inclination, or 23.5 deg offset of earths axis.

The earth is setting perpendicular to its orbit, and no moon. Please, the longer the answer the better.

In that case, the Earth would not have any seasons, and no strong tides (although there would be much weaker ones from the Sun).
