Lots of problems with this video. It was supposedly recorded on the ET Highway, but there is no gas on the ET highway. Gas price is certainly not current. The gas station doesn't look like any station in Tonopah or Alamo. I don't recall seeing an electronic sign as shown in the video.

Looks like an RQ series drone, I think I can see the right angle and straight edges.

It is indeed an old video, not sure if it has been changed, I don't remember it with that shape load on the back. I do remember a truck carrying a wide load though.

I don't remember anything like this at Alamo or Ash Springs. Grass and shrubbery.
So why is it lit up from below, with clearance lights around the edge? Drone or "UFO", I would imagine it would be tarped.
On second thought, being an extremely wide load, and at night I guess the lighting and clearance lights make sense. And maybe it is tarped. I say drone.

The age then would explain the gas prices.

The drones tend to be shipped in "coffins." Certainly the General Atomics models. If you hang out at the GA facility, you can occasionally see a drone delivery on a flatbed truck. No pilot cars or police escort required.

A drone in the US is only good for training. To be deployable in the sand box, they have to fit in a cargo plane. The Global Hawk is the only drone they could fly to base on the Middle East.

The wide loads I have seen around the desert are homes, earthmoving equipment, and windmills. Maybe that thing is a windmill hub.

Maryland State Police confirmed that the strange craft was actually a drone aircraft made by Northrup Grumman that was being transported from West Virginia to Patuxent Naval Air Station in Maryland.

West Virginia to Patuxent via Nevada? Navy stuff tends to have folding wings, so it shouldn't look saucer like. Unfortunately no photo in your link of it boxed or bagged.

No, from Edwards to Pax, via Nevada.

So was it on 375?

How can it be classed as a 'UFO' if it hasn't been seen flying? It could just as well be made from plywood and fibreglass and on the way to a theme park.

They didn't give a route for it, other than where the media or someone got pictures of it.

It was not on Highway 375. The airplane's wings had to be removed because they were too wide for the roadway, and the fuselage was covered in plastic to protect it from weather, bug impacts, and other flying debris. As I recall, Northrop Grumman took great pains to pretty much leave the X-47B in the open with its landing gear down and clearly visible so that no one would think it was a flying saucer. Two of these vehicles were transported from Edwards, California, to Patuxent River, Maryland, and each time it resulted in numerous amateur videos of "a secret convoy transporting a flying saucer." There were calls to various local police and television news stations, but no matter how many times the news media reported that it was a Navy drone there were still Internet reports of a "mysterious UFO convoy."

I remember people going insane over the UFO going across country. It seemed like every five minutes someone was posting a new thread about it.

I haven't seen a wind-power windmill hub, but have seen the blades. Couple of semi's parked at Ash Springs on the side of the road, across from the gas station, each had a blade on a trailer. It took me a while to figure out what the hell it was, the scale, seemed like 75 ft. long at least. They sure don't look that big assembled and up in the air.

I see the hubs all the time.

If you think those blades are big, you should see the ones they move by train.

With the wings removed, why truck it? Surely it would fit in a C-5.

As I said previously, actual shipping for the production units would have to be in coffins. Well I suppose they could truck the airframe to a boat then slowly get to the base.
