First, I confess, I own a camaro and am loving it. The Gen5 has to be the best Camaro made. I know Gen6 is right around the corner, but the ATS Camaro Club is for all Camaros.

The picture above is a track ready 2014 SS/RS with the 1LE Chevy performance package. Bone stock and and ready to rumble.

Any other ATS guys or gals a camaro fan?

That looks awesome!
If I lived in the US I would buy something like that. In the UK LHD is a pain.

Just curious. Did you get the 1LE RPO option?

They only made 2468 SS's in 2014 with the 1LE Option. Of that 1792 2SS 1LE's were sold worldwide with 577 of them painted in Summit White which looks stunning with the black rims and hood in any light. 533 of those were sold in America in 2014 with the balance sold in Canada.

2015 might be even less of a build count Due to people holding out for the gen6 in a couple months.

And it is extremely fun to drive.

I have a list of specs for the 1LE and trying to put together a history of the 1LE since the beginning at this link.

My wife thinks I love the car more than her. In a way... no I better not go there.

Nice. My LS3 "only" has 426 engine hp (not bhp) and I cant imagine 500!!

The big 3 are doing an amazing job with these modern retro styles. And the power and handling today is just amazing. Unheard of until this era we are in. But that will soon be ending in 5 years or so except for the few. Everyone else will be driving google self driving cars soon lol.

Nice,

I still regret selling my 82 Camaro. Nothing fancy, but she had a 350 with a massive cam, aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb. She had cherry bomb style exhaust right out of the headers.

The cam was so lumpy it rattled the alternator to pieces.

Man I miss the rumble.

Then you know that trademark sound. I can hear a camaro alot faster then I can spot it. And that sound is pure automotive orgasmic and total eye candy.

Stretched her legs again today. Sure missed sitting in the Recaros with my hand on the shifter and foot on the clutch and gas. Spring is a wonderful time of year.

Surely we have some other Camaro owners and fans here. We cant be THAT exclusive a club.

a reply to: smirkley I personally am a gear head and many other things. This is a venue with a limited amount of muscle car wrench turners, so it may not be the target topic for a major majority. Keep the tires up, and the oil clean, good luck...

Yes I agree. Yet since I am here....

Had the car out of storage a couple of weeks now. Spent at least 4 hours detailing her yesterday. Prepping for the car show I am in at one of the local theaters friday for a big Furious7 premier party. Girl is high and tight and ready to be oogled at. Honestly I meet alot of cool people at these shows. Last year I won a plaque, a couple of free dinners, a tool set, as well as a variety of chotskies. But car guys are some of the best To meet at shows.

One of my close friends is a camaro nut. I owned one in HS for a week, LOL. I ended up selling it to my friend.

I have always liked them. This friend of mine had a 78 camaro with a crazy corvette engine. T tops, all black. He jokingly called it his batmobile.

I really like the new ones.

Nice thread!

The car show was alot of fun yesterday and a pretty good turnout. They had a bunch of drifters showing their stuff. About a dozen Camaros too including a pristene 69 Z. Got to meet up with a couple of freinds. Got to meet a couple new ones.

A radio station had a quad copter taking videos. He did a pretty good sweep of my car too. He told me it will be on youtube soon. Will post a link when it gets posted.

Washed and detailed the car before going. Got alot of tire dust from the drifters so I washed and detailed afterwards.

Did some driving today. It was perfect weather. Drove up and down the canyon. Jumped on the highway going back home behind a corvette. He tried his best to keep up after I passed him. Poor guy. Must have been embarrassing.

Came home and realized the girl needs to be cleaned again. Kinda picked up a few bugs on the front end. Little guys splatter big at 100mph lol.

Methinks the girl needs a bath tomorrow.

Some dust was noticed settling on her without permission.

Well we just finished up with a foot of snow the last few days. Might not be driving much this weekend.
