Maybe in Western Civilizations, but around the world, a lot of people live without many modern luxuries. In regards to the Georgia Guidestones, this method of cleansing wouldn't keep anything in balance.

That being said, we aren't that far removed from the days when we lived with less conveniences. I think people would revert, and populations would taper off naturally.

It just seems like it.

The west supports them so much that you get population growth and if you remove that support you would get a big drop off.

As to balance that would be the perspective of a few that we would not know the full agenda of.

Well im one of the 64.1 million people who reside in the United Kingdom. How does our fair island do with regards to the planned apocalypse and mass reduction of our numbers? Are there any Brits left after armageddon?

That would depend how they decide to do it.
I could think of numerous ways to reduce the population some extremely indiscriminate others extremely selective.

I'm quite partial to the premise of Channel 4s Utopia regarding how any population cull would be instituted considering it paints a horrific yet semi accurate account of Humanity's possible future should we continue to multiply and consume resources in the manner we do. Not that i would wish to see such measures ever instituted, just in awe of how easily it could actually be done given enough power and anonymity.

As to diminishing resources + a multiplication of a population simple maths tells you that you will get diminishing returns on finite resources with a increasing population.

Humans problem is that we still see the world as land to be divided and fought over rather than the world pulling together and expanding.

I put it down to the 99% natural instinct to follow and that tiny 1% been divided and fighting.

If you could unite the 1% most of our problems would be solved very quickly.

Perhaps it will be covert sterilization via GMO foods? The population could be reduced near naturaly in only fifty years or so with no wars or disease. That seams the logical approach to me.

I suppose that's for you to speculate upon, since this discussion is purely speculative. I've never been myself, but through British friends I do hear that it's becoming crowded, and expensive in city centres. Sixty-five million is a lot of people cohabitating on an island with an immigration problem.

We bought land in Nova Scotia and hope to be allowed to become citizens of Canada. Covid-19 travel restrictions has put that on hold.

It is and thanks. Beautiful emerald green water. Seafood. I hope we can obtain citizenship. My biggest issue up there will be Black Bears.

I am wondering whether I should get several donkeys or dogs. Plus, I will probably farm my own cannabis. I figure I will bale it and offer it to the bears for security. Don't know how that will work out!

Police in southeastern B.C. have raided a marijuana grow operation that was apparently guarded by black bears.

No more than 4 plants now, to keep it legal.. check out the laws there, they’re different in every province.
And if you get donkeys and dogs (get both), fence well..

Bears are dangerous, make sure you learn all about them from the locals, and also learn about coyotes and moose...

Yes, the bears concern us. They were on the property during the afternoon. I am even concerned parking an RV on the property as they can rip off the door.

My guess is that I would use WIFI motion detectors along with some sort of noise or light to alert us they are on their way. I need to look into it deep. There is NO way we will ever stop them from getting to their food source which may also be along the shoreline of the Bay of Fundy.
