What Is This In My Picture?

This is actually a still/frame picture that I took from a video, taken about 8 years ago. I was being goofy and singing in the car, and pointed the camera at the side mirror while we were driving out of a parking lot, at a decent speed. I remember looking at this video on my camera and noticing it, and then uploading it to the computer, and it was mind boggling. I don't know if my camera did something insane to cause this to appear and look the way it does or if there was some one in a million glare thing going on to cause it, or if it's something that I can't explain.

People have looked at it and said everything from "that's fake!" to "it HAS TO be the building (but I don't know how this could be since we were far away from the building and driving at a decent speed, plus not to mention that it seems to be pressed against the back window and has no reflection like the other things in the background do), to "it's a spirit", to "it's a demon".

I just wanted to post it because I actually just stumbled upon it again and it's still a mystery to me. So I figured I'd post it here and ask what you all think.

People said it on another forum when I posted it in like 2011, so I'm going to just preemptively say NO IT'S NOT FAKE, damnit! Lol.

I'm leaning towards a Semi-Truck; it would be behind you enough so that it wouldn't likely be reflected in your "passenger's-side rear-door window".

I'm sure there are/will be some Advanced-Photo-Folks looking into your Interesting-Photo.

I've also had one person say that. It couldn't be a semi truck, we were driving out of a shopping mall parking lot, plus I would have remembered there being a semi truck that was apparently about to run into us since as you can see the thing appears to be pressed against the back door, although shows no reflection on the window like the rest of the background does.

to be honest I don't know ,However if I had to guess it would be some sort of merged pattern or reflection to form some sort of ghastly image .



I don't think it's anything other than that .

that is interesting indeed ... I see what you mean by it not reflecting off the rear window. I can see in the background part of the building, and it's reflection.

As for a camera artifact or something other... it looks to be inside the mirror, as opposed to over top the picture. It has depth. Does that make a difference?

Only thing I csn think of is a weird sign near the building of a person. .. or supernatural lol. But I feel that is less likely.

Yes, that makes sense that's why i'm so stumped, it can't be a building or truck, etc, because of its position and having no reflection, etc. I have no idea what it is. It's been a mystery for awhile, maybe some crazy camera phenomenon occurred and that's what it is, other than that theory, I have no idea.. It's strange because if you look at it it seems to have a face. It has eyes (which are apparently reddish) somewhat of a nose, and a mouth.

Also, no there is no way I was photo bombed, we were driving out of the parking lot at at least 35 mph, unless the person is a horse or has an engine, I don't see it, but it DOES look like that, minus the fact that it has no reflection lol.

Thank goodness it's from a video! Please upload a small portion of the clip...5 seconds before, to 5 seconds after this unexplained artifact appears, and I guarantee you that it will not stay unexplained for long. Lots of talent here in the forum to help you unravel this mystery.

That's the thing, since it's 8 years old, and I've gone through multiple cameras and computers, I don't have the video.. It's actually amazing that I still have the image, if I wouldn't have remembered posting it on another forum I wouldn't have been able to find it.

Hard to say what it is from the pic. Perhaps the video will help shed some light on it.

Oh I mean where was the parking lot? Perhaps google maps will help us with what the area looks like.

I see what looks like a face in white with some red lines and below that a hand or other thing? If you were parked I'd say it looked like someone was banging on your window or something indeed up against your window. You've hit nothing, or have been hit by and noticed nothing when driving as mentioned, that is odd. It doesn't seem like the reflection is from it either, as it may be from other things.

Yeah, it's so odd how it looks like it's right on the back of the door, checkout the video, I know it goes by fast.
