I would also like to add that if you look at a lot of the really churches you will see a green man face, this is because a lot of the original churches were built on pagan places of power such as ley line crossing points and they had to appease the believers. And a little bit of study is all you will need to realise that the Catholic Saints are all actually based on Pagan gods. (i am on a bus going through the Scottish countryside on my way to work with little connection otherwise i might link sources myself.)
Don't get me started on the rituals used in churches...

I am simply asking this question because it has come up a few times in the past couple of days and opinions are divided.
I am not offereing an informative post on what I think it is or is not but asking you what you think it is.
What your opinion is?
Where does it come from/ Does it have a place in modern society.
What have you heard about witches?
I heard they're all tranny feminist witches.
If somebody tells you different, they are speaking with the mouth of Satan himself.
So mote it be.
"You mentioned the devil and satan, Do you believe that is what Wiccans involve themselves with?"
NO! Wicca, true Wiccans, do not believe in Satan or devils.
Wicca is a rapidly growing religious movement, which is a modern day version of ancient religious precepts that far predates both Judaism and Christianity, and whose basic tenets and beliefs go back to the earliest days of humanity.

According to E.A. Koetting, an author of many magick books; states any/all magic is black magic. He is on youtube if you would like to know more about the art of magick. He speaks of Wiccans as well.

This is true.
You don't have to believe in the demons in order for them to manipulate you or use you. In fact it is probably easier to do so. But there are many in witchcraft and wicca who know they are dealing with demonic spirits.
There is NO good magic. Jehovah condemns it all.

Wicca is an older "religion" than christianity. Wicca believes in the Goddess. There is a God as well but the goddess is the supreme deity. The worship of the goddess was the main religion for many people before christianity spread. The goddess represented the earth and all its seasons. The magic of wicca encompassed the four elements winter, summer spring and fall. It also has to do with north, south, east and west. Wiccans knew herbal plants and used those to heal and work spells. There are 2 magics, white and black, and it would be up to the person how they wanted to use their knowledge. As christianity was introduced to the masses the pagen religion was outlawed. People would still celebrate the pagen holidays in secret. In order to stop this, christian holidays were scheduled on the days or near the days of the wicca holidays.

There is no such thing as white magic. There are many youtube presentations and books on this subject and you will find that all magic preformed must have an entity or spirit involved to complete the magical invocation. The creator has forbidden man to practice the art of magic and those that do are against the creator and refuse to follow his commands making the ceremony/ritual "dark" - the opposite of light. The same with the spiritual entities that follow suit.
All types of magic are a forbidden art according to Christian, Jewish and Muslim beliefs.

Here is some enlightenment for you DeathSlayer. I remember you now, from awhile ago, and I saw God speaking through you. And can perceive you have much understanding.
You are correct that all forms of divination and magic are condemned by God. And this is why. They are preformed by fallen angels. Angels who once resided in the light, and were in the very presence of Jehovah God.
To believe in God means nothing. These beings believe in him, because they were with him at one time, yet they tremble at his name:
(James 2:19) . . .You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.
So these are not beings who are deceived. They KNOW the truth, because once they were perfect beings of truth. Thus they are apostates, they have fallen away. And God's word forbids the speaking with an apostate. It does not matter whether it is a human or a spirit.
There is a reason God forbids communication with apostates. They are liars, and hate you. And only wish your destruction. There are those gullible, innocent, and foolish, who cannot perceive this. Even if they don't understand this depth, if they obey they would avoid much problems, and even death. These entities are not our friends, and are very dangerous.
