I am stubborn that way. In honor of my family who fought in real wars for our country, I will always vote. As for the caliber of people to choose from, that is our fault. We don't demand a better way or better people. I gotta live with that. I don't blame the politician for being what he/she is no more than I blame a bear for being a predator. The politician has learned that the constituent likes being lied to. As long as it is the right lie.

They fought in a war for the good of the leaders and business, not for us I'm afraid.

That is true of wars since ww2. My family have been fighting wars in America since 1693. Since Korea, wars have been for the corps.

Well said. People need to judge ideas and politics with their own open minds rather than dismissing an idea because it is "liberal" or "conservative". Party politics divide the people.
