Groom Lake, nee "Area 51", is just about the most obvious secret location there is.
A51? It was once just a place that Lockheed and the Air Force thought was a remote area to test and fly unknown prototypes. They were correct.....in
the 1950s/60s/70s there was really no one paying attention to the governmet land. Las Vegas was 150 miles south.....a few dozen ranches in the
area....few passers-by.
It is still that place......regardless of publicity. There is no place in the U.S. that has fewer people, fewer watchers, and fewer locals to ID ops
than GLR.
It's primarily an air base........testing terrestrial aircraft and systems.....that has assumed an enormous but probably underwhelming reputation.
Miles of underground levels? Where is the physical evidence for this? Such construction would require very intense and sustained evidence of
underground ops. None. No serious mining around A51 and no meaningful signs of huge earth moving either. Nukes? An underground nuke is popped in
a drilled chamber. Insulated. When you watch one being blown you see an obious collapse in the surface.
So, nuke testing is not hollowing out large parcels of the undersurface for construction since the mere act of exploding a nuke is bringing the above
layers down onto it.
