There you have it. A conservative's prediction.

Pass the tissues...

The epiphany struck this morning. The pieces all fell into place. Consider the 'massive' Republican win in the Mid-Terms. Impressive? Sure.

Yet the Democrats point out how small the voter turnout was and how close the split the percentile was. They are right.

The Presidential election bring out far more voters and that changes the demographics and the political rhetoric. The impressive mid-term wins have resulted in nothing but bragging rights for the right. Except possibly a slowed left agenda, no real stellar example of those wins translating into meaningful results for the people who elected them. WWW.Squat.

All the Democrats need is a few more percentiles in the vote to win the Presidency again. This is how they will/could get a lot more than a few percentiles.

Already trial ballooned, an early and massive campaign to raise the national minimum wage to 12-15 dollars will produce much interest and participation by the younger voters. After all, it's only fair....

As the family unit has already been relegated to nothing more than the source of Domestic Abuse, it will be time to fix these injustices by creating a National Day Care Act. This will properly help those women in need with children....long over due. As there are now probably millions in this group, another big jump in the percentiles.

Another already trial ballooned, the Obama program fro two year free education at a community college will be expanded to 4 years at any major university. Long overdue. Concurrently, forgive student loans...
There's some more middle class votes....

Any combination of these would tip the balance completely.

Not enough, you say?..OK.

An executive order announcing the two national languages. English AND Spanish. Both becoming mandatory school requirements. There's the Latino vote

The big sin finally addressed . Slavery. Financial compensation to all African-Americans for the big sin. Let's say 50K per man, woman and child. Of course this is spread out over ten years so as to not overburden the rest of us....and ensure a Democrat President in 2020 and 2024 lest a Republican gets elected and cancels the compensation. Restoring the slipping African-American vote....again, only fair and long overdue....

All of the above have been discussed and trial-ballooned in some fashion. This society-me, me, now, now, is set up for it.

Countering it is the Republicans who are in an internal fight over the definition, goals and leadership of that party.

Who will be the president? Does it matter? Al Sharpton would win with this many righteous compensations. Likely Elizabeth Warren.

How is it paid for? Guffaw. The same way as the last eight years. Only more so, massive military cuts, perhaps cuts to those who are above a certain limit of income/assets from social security, and of course, Taxing the rich. It doesn't matter whether this is paid for or not as it will work. It will work because those receiving these new benefits don't care how it's being paid for...Simple.

The debacle that is the A.C.A. and immigration reform will be overwhelmed by the excitement of these new progressive ideas. a Democrat landslide.

I see no way to defeat this strategy.

I see no way to defeat this strategy.

One way would be to go back to actual ballots at the voting booths.

'Pixels on a screen' results make elections more vulnerable to manipulation than ever.

Cool story... democants vs Republicants. Never ending story of corruption and incompetence.

If one counts all of the electoral votes from the states that typically vote Democrat it equals to 246 electoral votes.

So yes I agree, I think Democrats will win the White House again in 2016. Who do the Republicans have that appeal to the minorities, LGBT, Working class?

Where is all the money coming from to float all these programs? Are the dems going to fill toilets and get a judge to come in and call it moist gold? $18,000,000,000,000 in debt already ! Let's see how that works out huh?

I can hear a new theme song on Southpark coming by Eric Cartman, "I'm Trolling Away."

Cheers - Dave

So free education with no way to pay for it just to get the same liberal brainwashed college crowd who would vote for you anyway.....that is a fail.

National language change when people are already mad the illegals get free everything and totally unpopular amnesty legislation which keeps people from voting for you is going to get you more votes how.....another total fail.

Drive a further wedge in race relations with unconstitutional reparations that great great grandchildren are forced to pay for the societal norms of their great great grandparents era which they themselves had no control over....epic fail.

Here's to hoping every Democrat advisor is in as much touch with reality as you, would really enjoy the toilet flush it would cause on their chances.

I don't think do....

Elections don't matter anymore; they're just hype and BS to make the electorat think they matter.

Bush has been chosen by the military/industrial neocon cabal and we're going to war. It's an established pattern; haven't you noticed.

We already have half the population buying into this mentality. Please note Obama was re-elected after the A.C.A. was passed.

They are educated into "fair", "equal' and "justice" with zero ability to evaluate those concepts.

Yes drive more wedges into race relations. Trouble is half of these people would buy into this as a solution to race relations. Actually believing in 'reparations'.

I totally understand where your coming from. What you may need to re-evaluate is where 'they' are coming from....

Massive milirary spending cuts? What massive cuts?

The USA still spends more on its military than the over top 16 countrys combined!

You could slash the budget by half and still be better off than Rusdia, china and the entire ME combined!

Massive cuts....... you just trimmed the edges abit.

The cuts that have occurred are small...almost a test. In this scenario, in the next Presidential cycle, massive cuts would be 'proposed' as a way to pay for this.. Whether it would happen or to what degree? Another story altogether....

If mister welfare queens tactics of " if nobody likes me, I will infest the country with those who will" has anything to say, you may be right.

From what I hear, even the democrats are jumping ship.

Hope they don't just jump to the next sinking one, but that is probably too much to expect.

What america needs is an honest evaluation of the actual effect that partisan politics have had on the us as well as re-hires from career politician families.

They all have one thing in common...wealth and power creation at the expense of citizens hard work.

Oh come on now, everyone knows the Diebold election machines are flawless and fool proof.

It isn't like there have been thousands of cases of peoples choices automatically switching to the dems candidate no matter their selection.

Oh..ya

After a few years of the body bags and maimed youth returning from the ME with the continuing Bush wars....the Obama years will seem like the "good old days"

If you think Bush and war will make things better....I just hope you don't have any kids!!!

Have you really forgotten our last two wars? Let me remind you...it didn't turn out so well!

Haha you had me going.

You made it sound like it really makes a difference or that you have a choice?

I guess if those flat earth believers could fall for such silly believes they could also believe their is a difference between the R and D party.

Look. What I suggest is a continuation of actual Democrat policy. between the two Republican landslides was an Obama re-election. We have a bunch of new brats that can vote who have no idea/education on the principles of this nation or our history.

Our Mid-term wins weren't by huge numbers even if the seats won were massive.

They own the freaking media.

Sigh, I've been looking at 'issues' and getting suck in by them. Now the 'big picture'. We've been set up....

It scares the crap out of me....

I'm not sure there is a difference or a choice either.

It looks to me that there is no choice in this and it could very well go the way the thread proposes. Whether we like it or not.

Also, I'm not suggesting all of the above gets implemented nor at the same time. Just options that fit the template and any combination could very well wipe out 'choice'.
