Clarkson was given what he called his "final warning" last May after claims he used a racist word while filming the popular BBC motoring show.
At the time, he said the BBC had told him he would be sacked if he made "one more offensive remark, anywhere, at any time".
The BBC gave no further details on the current incident involving Clarkson, and said it would not be making any further comment at this time.
This weekend's episode of Top Gear was set to feature Clarkson - who has fronted the show since 2002 - along with regular co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May at a classic track day.

In my opinion the show has become stale and boring paint by numbers "entertainment" and it's time for it to either be shelved or re-imagined with a new format and presenters , all good things come to an end and in the case of Top Gear that was a few years ago.

Clarkson who is on his final warning at the BBC has been suspended pending an investigation into what has been described as a fracas by BBC bosses with what I can only guess is a producer of Top Gear , this Sundays show has been cancelled.

I would love it if all 3 of the hosts left and went to do another show on another rival channel.

Apparently he wast told he would be sacked if he every said anything again that caused offence. How is that possible, he is a public figure every time he opens his mouth there is going to be somebody somewhere who is offended.
The BBC is broken just like Westminster.
I hate the British elite class, I hate the BBC they do not represent the working class in anyway what so ever its all very upper class and I find most of their broadcasts offensively snooty.

BBC seem to be more about social engineering than entertainment or factual news.
This and there pitiful coverage of the pedo scandal just proves the above points.
