I posted on google + that I thought the airliner from Malaysia had been shot down just as it transitioned to Vietnamese airspace. This is a highly contested island group here the airliner was deviating toward. Other parts of my conspiracy theory where and whys I will not bother you with. The basics had some similarity to you r dream, however. I made a map of the deviated flight path. I believe attention was misdirected to Australia to prevent a possible escalation of hostility with China over this area ( an island group containing oil resources contested with Vietnam) as it is viewed by some analysts as one of the most likely triggers for WW III.
