CoasttoCoastAm discontinued its daily In The News section. I'm bummed, this was a good source of daily scientific/conspiracy info with a little credibility than most. I hope they bring it back.

Here it is: www.coasttocoastam.com...

C2C just changed the format for their home page. Look at the top of their home page, see the little photos with captions underneath them? One will say in the news 3/10/15. Just click on that.

Have they changed their broadcasting format? I just started to seriously listen to AM broadcast radio and just posted on this subject in the survival forum.

C2C's homepage still lists upcoming shows and their guests. And they still have the last show recap synopsis, so the content is still the same, just the look is different.

And yes, I starred and flagged your thread on AM Radio, good job!

Doesn't 6 photos of George Noory on the home page seem just a bit much?

I guess it falls inline with the program format....10 min. of program and 30 min of advertising for windup radios and dried food...yummmm!

That's why I never have listened for long to a broadcast.
I tend to wander off both physically and in mind to something else.

The worst is when they come back from a commercial break only to play a recorded advert from one of their DJ's then go back on commercial break again.

I used to read and enjoy their news section too. The new format does nothing for me at all. Now that it's gone, I've removed their icon from my fave list.

"In the News" is not gone. Follow the links in my first post in this thread. Enjoy!

I refuse to listen to George. His interviewing style of trying to get the guest to agree with his assessment of the topic is just so lame.

I will occasionally wade thru all the ads and listen to some of the guest hosts.

I am a huge Art Bell fan. Unfortunately, George Snoory lost me about a year or so ago. However, their news is rather insightful compared to MSM.

Thanks, I saw that, but it just is not the same at all. It gives me the impression that whoever was responsible for the various news items has lost his or her job and that quality of care has gone.

You're right. It's total job justification and they messed up the sight doing it. It's too convoluted just to get to something that used to be one click. And lol, a giant George Noory face to greet everyone. It needs major tweaking. But if you're like me, and want the stories, well, I'll still check in but not as often as I used to.

The In The News section is still there but has not been updated in some time. I wondered why.

Thanks STM, when I saw the format change I looked all over for such a link but didn't see. Probably because it was the very first one.

You know there is only so many times a radio station can cry 'wolf' before the people stop listening.

If they had any proof of their conspiracy view points, people would take them seriously.

As it is Bob and Tom has more substance.

I just looked at it, (I'm an avid "Coastie") and if you click on "Articles" at the top center tool bar, it's the last drop down item. I just looked...its there.

One thing is that as George noted on Monday night, they've revamped their web site and its still a work in progress so more changes are coming, but as long as Noory's in command, the news section will stay.
