One of the things I hear after awhile from new parents is that they realize that they get over their fear of missing an 'event' and do try to sleep
the best that they can. This is because when you stay up constantly waiting for something to happen, you get fatigued and when something really does
happen and you are asleep there is more of a chance that you are in such a deep sleep that you can't wake from the noise. Makes sense to me.
With that said, I don't get more then 2 or 3 hours of sleep at a stretch. I would not say that I have insomnia as I am able to sleep, but sometimes
an overactive brain is a pain in the ass.
