I could solve your whole issue. I travel from the US and the UK ALL the time. and Generally Speaking, Most UK would choose Democrats, and Most
Americans would Choose Labour.
This isn't based on anyone particular ideas and feelings it's from the Mainstream "Impression" both countries get about the other sides politics.
The UK Media is EXTREMELY liberal(way more than some Americans could ever imagine) so the idea that any large percentage of UK'ers would choose
Republican when most of their lives they've been propagandized to believe they are all idiot hick cowboys is laughable.
Americans on the other side have a slightly less liberal media and don't like the word "liberal" so that rules out liberal democrat. Conservative is
also a naughty word. The UKIP and SNP have no chance because even if you tell an American "you're UK now" they are still gonna be pro America lol.
Green Party would probably get a lot of votes but when Americans Realized they are a "global party" that would piss them off so by default Labour
would be the majority American Choice.
You're welcome btw
As for Myself Personally:
I'm in America and Consider myself a conservative so If I HAD to choose one it would be Republicans.
For the UK if I was UK subject, I like some variations in UKIP and Conservative and if I had to choose one, it would probably be UKIP.
One more note for Americans:
Conservative in UK does NOT mean the same thing as Conservative in America, Neither does Liberal. England "Conservatives" or more like "Moderate
Democrats" Hillary Clinton for example would probably be a Conservative, Obama would be a Labour and George Bush would be run out of the
country.
