In reason of scientific expansion and development, yes we can point fingers at said religions and their hierarchies.

In reason of spiritual expansion and development, yes we can point fingers at science and societies hierarchies.

When will humanity stop #ting in their own terroritory, and seek the balance of both reasonings?

Why does it always have to bash one or the other, when they are EQUALLY important and apart of who we are as a species in the womb of the universe?

Seriously stop bashing and comparing. They are both apart of our human spectrum of; thought, reason, internal desires, internal discovery, and truth.

Work together not against. I'm f'ing sick of division.

Exactly where is reasoning integral to religion? I must have missed that part.

Really getting lazy with the anti Christian rhetoric now. Don't worry, I am sure this apathetic attempt will garner lots of S&F's amongst the ardent supporters.

I think what we are seeing is the birth of a new religion. One that has all of the judgment of the other control mechanisms, without any requirement for the member to have any personal beliefs (much less discuss them). It's not something exclusive to god/no God interactions, as not all religions have gods, but I suspect it will become more apparent in the next decade or two. Really, the only thing missing is organization.

...

On the contrary, religion is the performance of ritual on behalf of or in obeyance to a supernatural deity or deities. No deity/deities=no religion.

There may be legitimate complaints about various philosophies and movements but let's not start referring to them as religions when they aren't. No, not even the "worship" of football teams is religion.

Jesus teachings and the bible can be used in a good way and in a dogmatic ways. When used in dogmatic way it resembles the Pharisees. Blocking the gate, knowing the way, making sure no one is allowed thru. And just to be clear I love Jesus teachings, but do not at all care for Paul:s teachings.

Perhaps you hadn't heard that not a word of the Bible was written by anyone who witnessed Jesus living nor heard him say anything. The "teachings' you attribute to Jesus and the words you attribute to Jesus were written by someone who never met him or heard him say anything. Keep that in mind.

Well...well....here we go again. Once again textbook default..beliefs and blame game.

However..what is of interest to me and gratifying at the same time....is that many more seem to be getting tired of it..and they do not seem to be Christians or even so Christianized. They mostly seem to be getting tired of the same olde game and seeing it on ATS. They are catching on to the concept that it is lowering the standards and thought process here on ATS.

In like manner to the supposed "War on Women" Christian bashing is getting tiresome and people who can still think for themselves are catching on to the pattern of the Phoniness...the fakery....the religion...while claiming to be anti religious and scientific...logical and reasonable. Not so...

In like manner to the wolfie pattern...of this current administration....the anti Christians here on ATS are textbook in the blame game.

This administration is also textbook in the blame game...the same pattern and a similar religion being played. 'The Blame Game "

This administration is going after Christians and trying to link them with right wing extremist groups and domestic terrorism...radical right wingers...not foreign threats. They look within this nation for blame..not to foreign threats..this is becoming obvious.

This was recently posted on the web and I found it to be interesting.

www.wnd.com...

I find this pattern very interesting and telling. A similar pattern takes place in the postings of Non Believers here. That Believers/Christians are responsible for all the ills of history. That science, reason, and logic have all the answers.
That is obvious by the postings of unbelivers ont the first and second page of this thread.

The President himself did this very blame game at the National Prayer Breakfast by quoting the Crusades and Inquisition..some weeks back. I was astonished that he felt able to play this blame game and no one would notice.

I noticed it and have made several comments on the phoniness of it here on ATS and other boards.

To be continued..

Thanks to all for their posts,
Orangetom

China and the Near East wasn't created yet during the time of the Western European Dark Age, they were created with a blessid act of the Holy Western European Barbarian the day after the Renaissance.

errr...the day after the Renaissance...can you pin point that day exactly? How was China created? Like as in 6 days of creation in the biblical tradition? What in hell are you talking about?

Are you seeming to imply that the the eastern orthodox church is the beginning of the renaissance or the cough cough...the inheritor of Christianity. Can you try to make your post easier to understand?

The blame game is a symptom of modern life

many parents don't teach their children personal responsibility

and so the child thinks that they are not responsible when they mess up.

This in turn leads to a generation of people who think that no
matter what goes wrong, the first thing one must do
is find someone else to blame.
Not to try and fix the problem, that may lead to possible personal blame.
Which is intolerable to many adults today.

And so today's adults are on vigilant lookout for who to blame
for every problem that exists.
And fail to even ponder solutions to the problems
causing the problems to get worse.

The totally chic, cool, and in group to blame and demonize
are now Christians and Jews,
but mostly Christians in the US.

What this is teaching is deep hatred and loathing for all Christians
as expressed by many on this thread
and by many on ATS,
more and more lately think it is
not only ok, to make Christians the new ("n" word)
but
to say with impunity and generalize to all Christians
as nasty and henious things as they can come up with.

Sad really, that it is suddenly ok to
hate and loathe and generalize hateful feelings
toward and attribute
hateful attitudes to
a single group of people,
if and only if they are Christians
when it comes to social issues;
and Jews when it comes to
political issues

Sick, sick, sick, a symptom of a mindset that borders mental illness.

I am going to take some time here to post a line of thought so revolutionary to many out here for the reason that so few will teach this to people in favor of today's classic "blame game" in ignorance being promoted through every medium including public education..and the media...Racism.

Once those of you able catch on to what I am going to say here...you will watch the phony news media and our phony leadership and catch them in the lie they have been Scientifically using against us to play the blame game in so many avenues. Much of their phoniness will begin to fall by the wayside..

Then you will begin to look at other classic textbook "social engineering blame games" for the same pattern and hopefully get rid of the control and puppet strings. To cut them loose and do your own thinking.

Here is the pattern you need to know about history and also the blame game going on out here.

Before AD 1519...the So called White Man lived equally as poor as any other race of men in this world. Most people had no need for a closet..there was nothing to put in it. Most people had only set of clothes and that was what they had on. Most people were never in their lifetimes to travel more than 20 miles from home.. They were tied to the land.

There were in any given nation of this world three classes of people..The feudal rich...royalty...the priesthood...and the serfs. That was it. This was feudalism...across the globe...almost everywhere you looked this was the status of men.

But today in the phony spirit of the blame game..they want to attribute this to race...and blame the "White Man " for all the ills of history...even for religion as is evidenced by this thread and a plethora of others here on ATS.

The key point here to know ...about race and racism and religion....is that the so called White Man...always had his race in history and it profited him nothing...before AD 1519.

But by 1519 an obscure priest named Martin Luther ..posted a thesis containing 95 complaints against the Church at Rome for it's conduct. Now Martin Luther was called on the carpet and put on trial for his conduct. By all reasoning Martin Luther was a dead man..but managed to escape and fled into Northern Germany and as history records founded the Lutheran Church...or Lutheran branch of Faith.

But the interesting thing which happened historically ..is that it was to be Northern Germany...the Lowland Countries and eventually England....which were to go on to be economically developed nations...not the Catholic areas. Within some 200 years ...historians began to notice that there was a difference in the standard of living in the non catholic nations and the catholic nations.

Now today's history wants to put this off and blame race...but the only thing which changed was the religion and how it was carried out. For people in the non catholic areas were able to keep more of what they produced without giving it up to royalty or the church...royalty who's crowns were put on them by the church...."Divine Right of Kings" or absolute power to extract from the people their production or labor.

Once you know this pattern ...you can look back and see the so called "White Man" struggling to make a go of it before 1519...and living as equally poor as anyone in any other nation....no progress.

Progress is not how many beautiful buildings are built or edifices to the glory of men..statues...and monuments are or have been built. Progress is how the ordinary people bring up their standard of living..not leadership..or feudalism.

The only thing which changed among the so called. "White Man" was his religion. And it did not change among all White Men...for Russia was to remain backwards into the 20th century.

Yet..todays scientific...logical, reasonable, enlightened, illuminated men want to put it on the basis of race and racism...and morph this into the blame game..for political advantage.

Once you know this....once you put this history into your heart...you realize what a phony game these professional "Victimizers and Racists " are playing on an uneducated and unthinking public.

Both sides of this phony template are being had by leadership and blame gamers in a diabolical phony template..unless you learn and teach yourself to think your way out of it.

Today...politically ..they want to blame all social ills on racism..and by default also on religion..particularly Christianity...while ignoring the lesson of history.

Once again ..you have to become publically educated to become so dumb you do not see the lie and deception taking place right in front of you and for political lucre. Only public education..ie..a television and movie education in guilt conditioning and guilt programming can dumb people down so far they stop thinking for themselves.

The White Mans race profited him nothing...and history bears this out across the line of time.

It was his religion which changed..for he always had his race and his race profited him nothing.

Once you know this and put it into your heart...this makes a mockery out of the professional race baiters and race haters across this land and also every politician using and misusing race as a default setting to "Shakedown" a whole nation and people for political lucre.

It also makes a mockery of much of public education and and also science with it which does not offer this view of the world around us for a peoples continued education and independent thinking. They are promoting dependent thinking and guilt..much like the unbelievers on this and other threads.

For science is one of the disciplines and one of the sciences/disciplines... is history.

It used to be that one was often asked ..."In what discipline have you been educated ?" You seldom hear that question today..because much of thinking has been stopped in the disciplines and replaced by guilt conditioning and guilt thinking.

I hope in some way this has taught the readers here some information's for your independent thinking.
Once you know this in your heart...you can begin the slow and disciplined process of examining much of the news and politics through this new prism of thought and learning.

Thanks again to all for their posts,
Orangetom

Ok, if people didn't believe me before about
Christians being the new "n" word on ATS,
here is the teaching of the hatred for all Christians
bald face, in our face
Even laughing about it.
Now Christians are cannibals.
The new mental illness in society - Christian haters who
spread their message as if it were a religion unto itself
to hate, despise, and loath every Christian on the planet,
what's next? A call to genocide?

You expect people who see what Christians are attempting to do in the world to be silent? I will call out any religion when it encroaches into government and attempts to hijack things like marriage.
I will mock it because religion needs mockery.

Told you everyone,
the new chic on ATS

hate, loath, ridicule an entire group of people (Christians)
until it turns so visceral, and spreads so widely
that genocide is called for

This statement above is indicative of the mindset that
leads eventually to a call to genocide of all who
think..... for now Christians
Christians are the new "n word" for certain in this person's mindset.

The hatred spewed in the post is palpable.

The blame game is a symptom of modern life

Oh..I quite agree..it is indeed a symptom of Modern Life. But not a symptom in which one cannot think their way out of it.

So many of us have primarily a television and movie education today filled with emotional instant gratification in lieu of real thinking and the fruits and labor which flow from real independent thinking.

The blame game ..fosters rigid dogma and dependent thinking. Not independent thinking and action.

I become very wary and cautious once I learned to spot the template of the blame game and notice quickly when someone wants to grab me by my emotions.

So much of leadership and politics today is predicated on grabbing and controlling people by their unguarded and undisciplined emotions. I believe with this next election it is going to be a very very huge dose of emotional drama for votes. Anything but independent disciplined thinking.

Agree with you ..it is a staple of todays phony leadership and politic..and the news media and public education is right in the middle of it.

Thanks for your post,
Orangetom

Go please show where anyone has called for genocide....
The religion I hate but not the people.
If religion stayed in churches and homes we wouldn't have any problem but many religious wish to push their view onto others and all the while silently thinking they are better because they go to heaven.
Just look at the ID and creation crowd in the USA attempting to dumb down education and then they lie about it in court.
