Stop parroting that bunk story of him threatening to shoot down the planes.

There is zero substance from it outside of an unnamed source and a Israel National News site which seems rather one sided.

It must be bunk then if you say it is. Cause God knows you're a reliable source.

I think Mr. Netanyahu gave a brilliant speech to Congress. I just wish some of our so called leaders would listen to him. It seems to me that some of the folks posting on this thread mistakenly believe that the leaders of Iran (or other nations for that matter) think like they do or see the world as they do.

For example:

"Iran would never use a nuke because they would be immediately destroyed in retaliation." What that really says is "I" would never use a nuke because "I" don't want to be destroyed in retaliation. The crazy leaders of Iran may not feel that way. They have stated in the past that the Muslim world could survive the loss of 200 million if it meant the total destruction of Israel. That doesn't sound like someone who fears any retaliation.

I know there are millions of peace loving people in Iran and I don't want to see them bombed or destroyed. However, I don't want to see Israel or anyone else destroyed either. There are times we have to be realists and put aside idealistic hopes and dreams. Iran under its current leadership is a crazy dangerous country. I wouldn't trust anything they promise or any agreement they sign. (For the record I don't trust a word Obama says either.)

Netanyahu is a little man. An ignorant immoral man

Why doesn’t he spend his energy in trying to make peace with the Palestinians whose land he is eating up and devouring like a greedy pig?

Instead of seeking affirmation from the ignorant intolerant GOP and Fox news with there distorter in chief and liar Bill O’Reilly

So what for ever one is going to force Iran not to have nuclear energy?

How will that work?

Making Iran forever bitter

Or does he want a massive war that Russia and China likely will NOT LET THEM DESTROY IRAN.

So who is the real war monger?

Threat to peace?

This little ignorant tyrant Netanyahu

Anybody with any sense knows you have to compromise with people

Talk to them and try to make peace or come to an understanding or there will be eternal war

So who is the real war monger and threat to peace?

I think anyone with any sense should also know that there are some people, not many but some, who you cannot trust on any level. You cannot compromise with someone you cannot trust - or at least have some reliable way to verify that they are honoring their commitments. That does not mean the only answer is to go to war. But it also does not mean you must blindly trust someone you know to be a complete liar. There are many steps the US could take against Iran short of a shooting war to curtail their nuclear weapons program. Notice I said "weapons."

None of these governments trusts each other. Even the friendly ones spy on each other.

Israel has literally killed US soldiers in the past to get what they want.
They have spies in American jails right now

The US spied on Germany an ally

Trust one way or the other has nothing to do with this

All these governments are liar’s deceivers and rats

The US has to verify Iran’s compliance just as they verify Russia's compliance with any nuclear agreements they’ve had in the past

Certainly the US and Russia don’t now or ever have they trusted each other but they still had agreements

Everything you said is true. I just hope the current US Administration is smart enough to not trust Iran. It seems like Obama is more concerned with arriving at an agreement for his "legacy" than he is about actually protecting lives. Some things can't really be undone. Once Iran has nuclear weapons (and it sure looks like they will) we will be dealing with that forever. In my opinion it is a really bad idea to allow a country that supports and honors suicide bombers to have nuclear weapons.

Thanks for reiterating the sentiment of the speech. Great thinker you are.

America and Israel have been far more terrorizing in the last hundred years than Iran.

Iran only want yo defend itself. There is no evidence anywhere contradicting that assertion.

Besides, who's country is completely surround by an enemies military bases.

You, sir, are the lost mind.

You twisted the following words to fit your perspective. It was taken out of context.

"The Islamic Republic will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground" - Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

That was a misquote...

In fact, every single link you posted - all six - easily proves what I just stated: You misquoted all six articles.

I could post another dozen links, but I suppose the entire internet is just making it up, right?

Why bother? It seems to be just you atm that is making it all up...

All the links, all six, say the exact same thing, and quite frankly, I'm happy that you did post these links:

Link 1:

Iran's leader said in a speech that the country would annihilate the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa if it were attacked by Israel, and criticized the U.S. over nuclear talks.

Link 2:

Iran's most powerful authority said the Islamic Republic would destroy the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa if Israel launched a military attack against it.

"At times the officials of the Zionist regime (Israel) threaten to launch a military invasion, but they themselves know that if they make the slightest mistake the Islamic Republic will raze Tel Aviv and Haifa to the ground," Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said during an address, broadcast live on state television.

...and the other four links state the same thing as well. You read the articles in all six links before posting, correct? Or did you just read the misleading headlines and ended up taking the bait?

Again: Iran has NEVER threatened Israel.

They have, like all nations, proclaim to defend their nation from attack and will engage in counter strike measures if met with aggression. For instance; when Hamas fires rockets at Israel, the IDF will respond. Now, using your logic: Are the Israeli government threatening to attack Hamas in this case?

Thank you for not posting the other dozen links...

They have been listening to him...

For 3 decades...

Saying the same thing...

Over and over...

& over and over...

& over and over...

& over and over...

Is this getting boring?

Well that lasted 3 seconds...

Try 3 decades...

Over and over...

& over and over...

& over and over...

Until 3 decades later people say enough is enough...

You're boring...

Baseless rantings and vitriol is denied by your own countries Intelligence...

Netanyahu will be on his deathbed....

Saying the same thing...

& then he will probably haunt people saying the same thing...

& then when his spirit is driven back to the bowels of hell by an exorcist he tried to bore with his specious stories...

He will turn his attention to the Devil...

& he will repeat it over and over...

& over and over...

Until even Satan himself gets bored of the lies.

All this false outrage about treason. Then libs in the Dem congress and Obama should hire a special prosecutor to arrest Boehner and bring charges of treason. It is after all a serious charge that includes death. Fact is either #1) they know they don't have a leg to stand on as a charge of treason is weak or #2) they don't have the balls and are showing how weak this republic has become where they can let a foreign head of state in this country to address congress. Do you think Putin would allow a foreign head of state in to address the Russian congress on the Ukraine situation?

Why not? If any western leader dared, I am sure Putin and most Russians would appreciate a good laugh at western attempts to manipulate the mind of a Russian. I suggest practising in Ireland before taking your game to Russia.
