But, so what! Is he right? Does Iran threaten to extinguish Israel every chance it gets?

No. Can you please show where Iran has ever threatened Israel?
(...)
Iran has NEVER threatened Israel.

Really....does not take any effort to search the falsehood of your statemnt.

Perhaps before making blanket statements, you should check your own facts.

Ya, by the israelies...

They have said it was a mistranslation.

Do you not remember Ahmadinejad addressing the General Assembly at the UN in 2012 and talking about Israel being a tumor that needs to be eliminated? Remember, when delegates got up and actually walked out on his vile speech?

Its funny as Israel is doing the same thing with Iran.

The rhetoric is flung both ways

A defensive stance is different from an offensive one. Not the same thing at all.

What a coincidence that some ignore the calls to Islamic Jihad...
calls to violence made by Iranian leaders....
which is war mongering....

Oh wait....

Better still, I wonder if Israel would welcome Iranian inspectors. Rub those two sticks together LOL.

Maybe both sides would get so confused and frustrated with each other they would agree to go back to fire arrows just to settle the debate.

He's doing that to appease his critics back in Israel.

Nothing else.

Oh, you mean just like Obama does when he praises Israel and Netanyahu.

Israeli hate is so great on here by most, they ignore Iran's previous threats of causing the extinction of Israel. But don't even question Muslim indifference to ISIS and the rest of the extremists by the overwhelming majority, you will be labeled a racist and Islamophobe. But most of these same people show the hate towards Israel. Hypocrites all.

I didn't think the speech was that bad. I don't trust the Iranian government as far as I can throw em. I didn't think his speech was destructive.

I'm not a fan of his though. I hate his genocidal policies regarding the Palsestinian people. He is a war criminal and thinks his people are the "master race" in that region.

But back to the speech, typical US politics. If it isn't something they/we...our leaders, start or do, they don't like it.

I did think the "the enemy of your enemy is your enemy" quote is a bit retarded.

Again you do actually knoq Iran would not in anyway support ISIS due to the fact ISIS are Sunni and Iran being Shiite will despise each other more than they despise Jews or Christians.

In fact Iran is actually bombing them and has even offered to send troops into Iraq.

Hypocrite is a country that crys about another country nuclear weapons when they themselves refuse to allow inspectors in or sign up to any of the same nuclear treaty the other nuclear powers signed up to.

I wasn't talking about other countries. I was talking about most people on here. Since we're on the subject, Obama discussed shooting down Israeli jets if they were to knock out Iranian nuke facilities. So he was going to out-bully the bully and was ready to protect Iran over Israel. Good thing after all Iran has done for us.

This was the most sane, most powerful, most moving speech I have heard in my lifetime.

If you disagree agree with anything he I just said you are living in a fantasy world.

That needed a bit of fine tuning...

Perfect now...

I'm not American but from what I understand, John Boehner inviting a foreign leader to address congress without asking the president first is a huuuuuuge no no and has never been done before. It's a slap in the face to the constitution and a slap in the face of your president. Any foreign leader who partakes in using a platform leveraged on disloyalty and borderline treason to further their political agenda should have their alliance reviewed. Boehner crossed a line which may have landed him in the gallows a 100 years ago.

Just to educate you then, foreign leaders have addressed Congress before on invitation, bypassing the sitting administration.

"The left is up in arms about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressing a joint session of Congress without coordination with the White House.

Foreign dignitaries have addressed a joint session of Congress on dozens of occasions: French Ambassador Andre de Laboulaye (May 20, 1934), to mark the centennial of the death of the Marquis de Lafayette, and Cuban Ambassador Guillermo Belt (April 19, 1948), to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Cuban independence after the Spanish-American War in 1898. Pierre Trudeau, prime minister of Canada."

These are but a very few of the many times this has happened, often without any coordination with the White House or State Department.

Even now Iran is avoiding discussing parts of its nuke program.

If Iran obtains nukes the US will not be the first target on their list - Israel will be.

An agreement that essentially says Iran can have nuclear weapons for 10 years is not an agreement - its a joke.

I don't think that has ever happened when the intentions are to disrupt and interfere with Peace negotiations though...

Maybe it has...

Someone else set precedent???
I wouldn't mind a source for that, thanks.
