Eric Garner's daughter on video: Al Sharpton 'All about the money'

Controversial film journalist James O'Keefe has released a new video investigating Al Sharpton. The video features Eric Garner's daughter saying that Sharpton is "all about the money".

O'Keefe is known for going under cover and using hidden cameras to "expose" hypocrites and fraud (in his opinion).

On Feb 21 O'Keefe announced via twitter the following:


Afraid for his life over this story? Sounds like grandstanding and false hype to me.

In this case, I'm pretty sure that everyone already knows that Al Sharpton has questionable ethics and is "all about the money", so I don't see any real exposition here.

Anyhow, O'Keefe and his Project Veritas website are trying to make a big deal about this new video.

Do you think this will adversely affect Sharpton? I think everyone will just nod and say "I already knew that."

Snitch? That's pretty funny when you consider "snitch" was the actual term used to describe Sharpton, an FBI informant.

Please consider that Sharpton is one of the charlatains that use religion as their excuse to do immoral and evil things.

Are you serious? Did you even watch the film, or did you just hurry to get the first post in?

Sharpton is a known shark. Seeing a girl who was used as a tool by the MSM to promote racial tensions coming out and exposing Al Sharpton is quite revealing IMHO. Most of the people in this video probably wouldn't have done so if they knew they were being filmed in fear of backlash from race baiters. Sometimes undercover is the only way to go.

100% agree.

Al Sharpton may be a crook. He may not be. I'm not here to slander his name or defame his character. But i will say that Project Veritas' actions in the video are unethical, plain and simple. Not only did Project Veritas secretly film individuals who (assumingly) were not aware of the actions or intentions on behalf of these 'journalists', they went into this with an obvious bias...an agenda to attack Al Sharpton's character. They should have requested official interviews with all people featured in the video, and they should have went into these interviews with objective measures. They seemed to have done neither.

I do have respect for undercover journalists who actually go to great lengths to infiltrate and expose criminal entities and illegal practices, but there is always a fine line when it comes to ethics. Project Veritas crossed that line.

Exposing anyone worth millions where their entire lively hood and future relies upon preaching to a cult audience is indeed dangerous. He is the king of racial tension. The journalist's life may well be in danger. Anyone who speaks out against Sharpton gets hammered by race baiters and race apologists.

Yes we all know Sharpton is full of sh*t, completely agree, but show me something more concrete and possibly motivational to the people on the wall about him than Eric Garners own daughter... Someone he presented himself as representing and helping... Her testimony, although likely to be widely unheard, is still powerful.

There is a dual-purpose here...

Sharpton, despite being about money, brings attention to a case, whether his intentions are good or not...

For some, being heard in a sea of spin will take precedent over Sharpton's pocket...



I'm sure if they want to discard of his only use, they'll do so in their own time...




But now this clown crying about his life being in danger has decided to expose Garner's daughter, making her look like a backstabber...
& put her & other people in the exact same position he is worried about for himself.

It would be much better if Project Veritas had not been covertly filming her and leading her along a certain track of thought. I know, i know, she said what she said. But Project Veritas went into it with a clear agenda, and they led her along hoping and expecting to get the statement they did.

It is clearly unethical. I would hardly call this video concrete and motivational. It is the epitome of unethical practice and behaviour. Perhaps O'Keefe and his staff should take a look at the SPJ's code of ethics and see how real reporters behave.

The obviously problem here is that O'Keefe is himself an unscrupulous, morally bankrupt "race baiter" who is known for all manner of unethical tactics not least of which are editing his videos to intentionally deceive viewers. He's paid to generate propaganda. Perhaps he should do a video of himself explaining why he is somehow better than Al Sharpton?

The agenda is clear: discredit Al Sharpton by proving that he financially benefits from his involvement and that will discredit anything that Al Sharpton involves himself in.

Except that's horrendously faulty logic. Unfortunately, O'Keefe has had success because people really only care about being told what they want to hear. Evidence of this is all around us. For instance, Brian Williams made up stories about his own exploits that were of no real consequence in the greater scheme of things and now his career is effectively over because he's been found lacking in integrity.

O'Keefe's deceptions have had major consequences and yet people still run back to Brietbart.com for what they still believe is the "truth" despite the fact that it's creator was O'Keefe's mentor, employer and biggest supporter — even after he was exposed for the scumbag that he is.

If people really cared about truth and integrity, O'Keefe wouldn't have an audience (and brietbart.com wouldn't have visitors).

I already stated my stance.

Hearing about his corruption from someone who he presented himself as representing is much more powerful that hearing about his corruption from another source that could be dismissed as being under the influence of 'white privilege' or some other BS PC term.

The daughter of Eric Garner has a much louder voice in this matter than any of us, as sad as it is to admit.
