Actually I mixed up my terminology of 2nd cousin vs cousin removed. 2nd cousins are indeed related by blood, they share great grandparents. I mixed
that one up and I'll admit it. It still changes very little in the grand scheme of things, because if they inbred from 2 individuals with no outside
breeding, 2nd cousins will have more in common than just the great grandparents. They will share common uncles and aunts, which makes them more like
first cousins. The inbreeding doesn't magically go away just because a few generations pass.
