After Jimmy Morris found out his daughter’s boyfriend beat her in front of her children, police say he took matters into his own hands, grabbed a baseball bat and knocked him over the head.

When police arrived at the scene, Courtney Grace pointed a finger at Morris, but a crowd surrounding the pair said Grace was the one who beat his girlfriend, who was sitting in the bed of a truck with her hands holding her swollen and bloody face, according to the police report.

Maybe violence isn't the answer and I hope the children never seen it, but some people really deserve it. Good for him I say.

There's no sympathy for the boyfriend here. I wouldn't have used a baseball bat, but my own hands so I could get the benefit of physically beating the crap out of him! I just hope the daughter realizes she needs to get this abusive A-hole out of her life for good. In cases like this, there should be immunity from prosecution for the father's. Maybe than, swine like her boyfriend would think twice before physically abusing women.

the sad thing is, an abused girlfriend, wife or partner tends to go straight back. Hopefully this idiot took the hint.

i just wish that i could give a thousand stars for this , a friend of mine had three sisters and one of them had a husband that beat her , when the other sisters found out about it, they met him and knocked the living daylights out of him and told him that he even raised his voice a her again they would leave him for dead next time .

i never met the sisters but if the brother was anything to go by they would have been formidable ,

Good on the dad ...i hope he does not get into trouble for it...

On a side note damn that kid must have had a hard head either that or the baseball bat was weak ...

Men who hit women are in the same category as pedophiles - both are the scum of the universe.

What about the poor fathers baseball bat? I'd be seeking compensation from ship-for-brains to have it replaced.

Maybe the father should have raised a better daughter with better taste in men. I'm sure this wasn't the first time of physical abuse and where there's physical there is a king history of verbal.

Way to go dad..........You reap what you sow. The dad should have a long talk with the daughter about how a woman deserve to be treated by a man. So many girls never get this talk and it is very important. It is also important to teach boys and young men about never hurting females for any reason......Walk away that is what my dad told me. And he also told me if he ever found out I hit a girl he would make sure himself it never happened again.....I had a good dad I sure do miss him.

lol, When I read your title I was expecting the father whipped a baseball at the boyfriends head and knocked him out. As far as correcting it in the title, good question. Usually there is an "edit" up in the corner and if you tag it within 4 hours of the post you can make corrections. I didn't see it up there. That's ok, everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure everyone figured it out after reading the post.

While I would normally agree with you I woujd never condone hitting a woman I can definitely understand how some men could be driven to hit a woman. It's unimaginable to do what this guy did. But many of men have hit, slapped, pushed, pulled, grabbed a woman. Is it right? Of course not. But there are some vile, manipulative, emotionally controlling, and verbally abusive, feminist man hating women out there. This isn't the 1950's where women were taught to be respectful, feminine, submit to their husbands etc.

Of course not! Read what I wrote! I said many women marry or date abusive men because they have daddy issues. My daughter would know don't even think about dating a man that would ever lay a finger on her. I'd hope to raise her with enough self respect and self esteem. Just because the father came to the rescue doesn't mean he's a great father.

You are right......It is harsh but true. Parents need to teach girls and young woman what real love looks like. Talk with them about not putting up with treatment like this. Also give them respect and inner strength. If you love and respect yourself you will not put up with this crap.

maybe the boyfriend's father should have taught him how to treat women properly or how to be a proper dad. He deserved it.

So, by your logic, if a woman isn't respectful, feminine or submissive to a man -- then it is understandable for a man to beat her...
