Wow...
Who'd a thunk that cocoa powder could be so complicated ?!
It sounds like my dark no name brand cocoa is 'dutch processed' and the Fry's brand is 'natural' roasted. And it seems the 'raw' cocoa may not
necessarily be truly 'raw', so it's hard to tell whether or not you're getting the real deal - and paying a small fortune for something you're
not even sure about. Meh.
Nothing is what it seems, is it ?!
I guess I'll just stick with my dutch processed since I'm keen on the flavour and colour of it... I'm not overly concerned about antioxidant
levels.
Either way, making your own chocolate is by far the healthier choice... so maybe the type of cocoa a person chooses to use is neither here nor there
when you take it all into consideration, I guess.
