Multiquote

How difficult would it be to reimplement multiquote? Personally I hate reading through a thread and eventually double posting to the end because there's multiple posts I want to respond to. The way the board is currently set up I hit quote, reply, and then have to continue and quote again later.

The only workaround I've found is to use link and store a bunch of posts I want in their own tabs, then quote each and copy/paste them together. This is a massive hassle and sometimes not even viable when the source quotes go beyond 7500 characters and require a text editor to trim stuff down before I can even bring it into it's own quote.

Multiquote seems like it would be a great thing to bring back.

I'll second that motion, and it would be nice if each person was notified of a reply to their post as well.

well you are sorta, if you click the double bubble for check replies to your threads next to the profile button. it also lists replies to your posts.

If you click on the envelope at the top od the page and go into your mail, you will see all the replies to your posts, each having a direct link to the reply in the right column.

What I would love to see though is some kind of distinction made to that envelope when there is a reply in there, even if it were something like a bright outline of the envelope to indicate that replies have come in. Otherwise with the way it is now, we just have to randomly keep on checking.

If I reply to 3 people in the same post, only the first one is notified of a reply to their post. The other two have to check the thread, or they will never know I replied to them. That's what I'm referring to.
