Um... Why did that post disappear...

So I'm reading through comments on the Donetsk explosion; and all of a sudden the thread is toast...

Anyone at ATS care to explain? If it was a hoax, it could have been moved... Otherwise, I see no reason to remove the thread entirely...

I'm gonna be pretty frustrated with the administration if it got pulled without explanation...

Nobody indicated that it was a re-post; and I don't see anything about it in the feed...

Not to mention that a mods 'mood' should have nothing to do with a thread getting deleted. It's a mods responsibility to follow guidelines better than anyone - and I doubt that any mod's guidelines allow removal of a thread without a warrant...

The link was GLP and that is a no-no.

Well I'm going to re-post it if it doesn't show up in the next 5 minutes; I call a crock of sh* on it getting removed. Credible links or not - toss it in the hoax bin; don't delete the post...

And the 'proof' was in the two separate videos - nuke or not; there was a massive explosion that was up for discussion, and now the discussion is gone.

The OP put in a link to a competitor. I think that is why it was wiped out.

I call BS... I don't know or care what a 'GLP' is ( I assume a 'hoax bin new site' ) - the explosion happened. Linked to a bad source or not.

Why does the source matter? News is news - and obviously; people are coming here first. If they get linked out, it's still pretty likely that the resulting comments are going to end up here... I see no truly legitimate reason to restrict outside links, at all.
