Resisting an officer's orders?

Here's the backstory at SFGate

The Tuesday afternoon arrest of attorney Jami Tillotson as she denied police officers’ attempts to take photos of her client without explanation raised questions about police intimidation and harassment, Public Defender Jeff Adachi said at a Wednesday news conference.

But police said the five officers, led by a plainclothes sergeant, were investigating a burglary case in which Tillotson’s client and his co-defendant were considered persons of interest. Tillotson was cited for misdemeanor resisting or delaying arrest because she obstructed a police investigation, officials said.

“I was arrested for what we do as public defenders every day,” Tillotson said of the encounter, which was captured in a video that the public defender’s office posted on YouTube. “I asked questions. I talked to my client and explained to him his rights. At that point, I was told I was interfering and taken into custody.”

My admiration of her is tempered by my knowledge that she's more than likely defending violent scumbags. She is the best of what we are, defending the worst of what we are. I'm conflicted. She's great.

she must be working on another case that conflicts with tptb and they had to send a message, She must be in someones way somehow.

Or

It may be a publicity stunt so that she can further her career in other arenas, anyone else think to themselves "hey I want and attorney that will go the distance when needed"

I'd hire her if she had a private practice especially after a stunt like this

If it helps, she's actually defending society from itself. The presumption of innocent until proven guilty and the right to a fair trial are part of the bedrock of our civilisation. Take them away and you are left with the darkest kind of mob rule. She is the sword and shield that stands between us and an abyss of our own making.

she denied police officers’ attempts to take photos of her client

obvious question -

" do her clients have any rights to privacy [ specifically " no photos " in a public venue ] ?? "

if yes - can someone explain the california law that mandates this ?

if no - she SHOULD know that - and derserves everything she got

My question is who are you in relation to this case and why did you necro this tread from 3 years ago?

Would love to hear your statement and story, as you seem to have an intimate and vested interest........

No judgement please enlighten us and tell us what happened, and if there was any misjudgment done.......
