This is sick, and made me angry. Although it isn't clear if she jumped or fell, the silly bint has ended the life of an innocent baby.

I'd hate that to happen to me whilst pushing my little girl around. I'd stamp on the idiots head to make sure they died as well!!

Surprised no one said anything about this......

...It says nothing about the woman jumping or being careless and reckless with the kid. It says she and the child in (a stroller or somesuch) fell to their deaths.

Read it again Nygdan. The woman jumped/fell onto the pushchair.

The entire article in full
Tel Aviv woman's fall kills baby
A 10-month-old baby was crushed to death in her pram by a woman who fell 13 floors from an apartment building in Tel Aviv.
The baby girl was sitting in the pram being pushed by her parents when the accident occurred in a suburb.
She was rushed to hospital in Tel Hashomer in a critical condition but later died from her injuries.
It was not clear whether the woman, in her thirties, fell by accident or had committed suicide.

I think you must've read one or two other articles on it and confused which one said what, or perhaps the link has been updated/edited. It reads as last updated 12-15-2004

The word "jump" doesn't appear anywhere in that article. And to infer that this poor woman (that for all we know slipped hanging laundry on her balcony) is a "crazy bitch" is just wrong.

Nygdan, it quite clearly says:

A 10-month-old baby was crushed to death in her pram by a woman who fell 13 floors from an apartment building in Tel Aviv.

Don't know what your reading.

The word jump may not appear, but the word suicide does, although not confirmed. Perhaps there is more out there on the web to shed light on this.

Suicides often cause the deaths of others. Consider last week's train derailment in California. (and he killed 10 times the people!!, and Lived!!) This happens a lot more often than people realize. It's general policy in many press organizations to simply not run reports on suicides. We just never hear about most of them. Calling the jumper Dumb doesn't help either. Have you ever dealt with a suicidal person before. One of the reasons people don't give warning is precisely because they're afraid of more judgement. Perhaps if there weren't this stigma, health professionals would have heard about her before she ended up on the papers,....and on the baby.

LOL wow misinterpretation of words.

The baby girl was sitting in the pram being pushed by her parents when the accident occurred in a suburb.

edit. Do you really believe someone could target someone/something from 13 stories high and purposely land on top of them?

how do we know the baby is "innocent" ? maybe the baby was destined to be the anti-christ or worse

just pulling your chains, this is simply a sad accident, nothing more.....

Did I say that? No.

But if she did jump, she is effing stupid and selfish. She took the life of another, just because she was unhappy with her own.

If she didn't jump, then it is a tragic accident, and made the more worse by the death of a baby.

Why do you insist on calling suicides DUMB and STUPID? They're in an altered mental state caused by a medical condition. They are not able to reason in that state. Pick up a psychology book and learn something before YOU risk being called DUMB or STUPID. This is a subject that is very close to me, so I don't mean to be insulting.

I didn't. I called this woman bumb and stupid. If she felt she needed to end her life, then so be it, but at least do it in a way that is not going to affect others. Through her carelessness and selfishness, she has ended the life of a small baby.

She could have ended her life in any other way and not have hurt or bothered anyone, rather than plummeting from a 13 story window onto a sidewalk and risk hitting passers by.

This is such an unfortunate accident. Just thinking about the odds of such an event happening are slim. The suicidal always have a choice.

As an interesting side note, there was a priest killed by a falling body at the 911 disaster. Of course this wasn't a suicide really, but it does illustrate the strange and unexpected ways we can be killed.

Are you not understanding that there is nothing that indicates in the original article that she commited suicide? Infact the story seems to support an accident? The article only says that she and her baby fell to their death. It doesn't say that it was suicide, it doesn't say that an accident was ruled it, and it doesn't say that either were more or less likely.
