Obama was speaking with Dmitry Medvedev when he made that comment and it was in relation to the US missile defense program.

@op
You guys really need to stop taking things out context and trying to spin it into something its not and never was. As I stated he was talking about Yanukovych stepping down and holding early elections. An agreement that not only Yanukovych accepted but the Russian rep who was present accepted it as well.

You guys really are that desperate to somehow justify Russia's invasion and occupation of Ukraine sovereign territory..

attack the facts and not the person.

if you can debunk my posts then you would surely have done so instead of complaining about mod activities with other users.

Obama specifically states that he is referring to the agreement Yanukovych signed to hold early elections which was approved by the Russian representative.

Dude how many accounts do you have?

On topic, if you want to debate thats fine, if you want to discuss thats even better.......

But stop attacking members and being intentionally disrespectful

How can anyone have a debate when you have opposition view points removed?? You haven't been able to counter any arguments except complain to ATS mods/admin. You're a joke.

because you have to follow the T and C guidelines to do so .......

Oh and also operate at a debate level higher then kindergarden

See youre so far out there man you dont even know who to go after and who not to......

Obviously my post earlier agrees with the fact that Obama is embeded deeply with whats going on in Russia ......and other countries

But im not lending my voice or my reasoning to someone who obviously is so brazen and off the wall with his remarks that he treats other members with such disrespect.......

I dont agree with a lot of the members on this site, but I have the highest respect for all of them, because their opinions matter , and they are people , just like me.....

You could stand to learn that

yeah that's what I thought..

if you did your homework you would know the person speaking is Oleg Tsarev. He is a member of the Novorossia Unity Parliament now. A group that advocates, essentially, the end of Ukraine and a joining with Russia.

Show me a speech that's not intentionally slanted into the propaganda portion and you might get my interest.

Not surprised at all. We've got our hands so deep in Ukraine's cookie jar its not even funny. Hopefully Russia smacks Obama's hand before he starts a nuclear war and screws this country up even worse.

2 more years! 2 more years! [chants]

til he's out

And to think, I voted for this clown in 2008. Don't worry, after one failed presidency I didn't vote the same in 2012.

And this makes his points invalid why exactly?

Typical, attack a person when you can't offer any real facts of your own. That aren't from CNN..

This Oleg guy is sounding better by the sentence.

The desperation is in the usage of the word Legal.

The legal systems you think of which are far more heavily corrupted towards the Zionist agendas somehow make you believe that it is ok for you to do whatever you want in any country, in regards to Ukraine, you actually want people to believe that American interests are not at least as bad as Russian in this, if not far worse ??

Any rational person could see that USA has a massive hand in every destabilization out there, and if they don't start it they always get involved real fast anyway, and it never turns out to be better for said nation unless they fall over backwards and take it.

Really a sad commentary that you look to the outside for all the problems.

It was not a year before protests started. The speech was given in Nov 2013 and Yanukovych was removed in February.
